| Hi I need some helps here....A local grocery store here has nice huge heads of cauliflower for 98 cents a head so I thought I'd buy a few and try freezing them...Can I do this if I break them into florettes without blanching them?? Can I just break them into pieces and put them in a ziplock bag? I really love cauliflower and eat alot of it and this is a good deal!!! I've been paying up to $3.00 a head!

| Sure, it works fine, and you can blanche the florets first, but you don't have to. One suggestion: If your freezer has room, freeze them spread out on a cookie sheet first, and then put them in bags. That way, they will be in separate pieces, and you can remove as much as you want without having to thaw an entire bag. Trina
