I have used kefir in many ways. Made smoothies for breakfast; just drank a glass because I love it; used it in cooking for a milk or buttermilk replacement.

I've been taking it to work for lunch - 8 oz. of it with 2 squirts whatever DaVinci sugarfree flavor strikes my fancy that day - peach, strawberry, cherry - then I just shake it up good at work and down the hatch. Man I LOVE that stuff! I usually take some jicama or celery sticks or cut up red bell pepper too.

I often have it after or with a meal, either plain or with a little flavoring. Makes the best smoothies with strawberries, too. I keep being afraid it's going to hurt my blood sugar, but so far, no problems.

I've been trying to have more dairy now that I can, so have been having either yogurt or kefir every day. It may slow down my weight loss but I think it's good for me.

Kefir cheese is great. Make sure you try it, if you haven't already.

I tried something tonight that was surprisingly good. I put a little bit of LC chocolate syrup(like DaVinci) in some kefir, and added a half tablespoon of flax meal. It was actually good. I thought it might turn out to be a bad experiment, but I liked it.

We usually do a smoothie for breakfast. DH likes to have a small glass before bedtime.

I just made some into ranch dressing. That was good, too.
