One of our local radio stations, WBFJ is advertising a book release this Saturday at the Master's Loft in Winston-Salem. Chef Scott who is on the morning show, will be there to release his new low carb cookbook, answer questions, and do a book signing. I have enjoyed some of the recipes he posted on his website. Have to be at a meeting Saturday and will miss his signing, but thought anyone else in NC might be interested. I will probably check out his cookbook next week.

I think it was 10:30 - 1:00. If you get to go, let me know if his cookbook is truly low carb. Should be interesting.

Heard it promoted on the radio again today. It is 11:30 - 1:30. Also said that proceeds are being donated to the Diabetes Association.

Hi Carol,
His website is www.chefscott.com
I was very disappointed though when I recently checked it out. Most of the recipes on his website are not lowcarb.

I have not heard anyone talking about his cookbook. If I get a chance I will run by Master's Loft this week and see what it is like. I did send him an email and asked about him doing a low carb section on his website. Will let you know what his response is.

I was unable to get down there on saturday. I stopped in today and couldn't find his cookbook. Every other book in the store was religious and there wasn't a cooking section to be found. I didn't ask anyone because I was in a hurry.

Got a reply from Chef Scott today. He said Master's Loft does have some of the cookbooks and also
"I will be signing cookbooks at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston on Friday, March 19. I will be at the Diabetes center from 10-2."
I love going to the Master's Loft so will go and check them out. Also, he said some of the recipes on his website are low carb. When I checked it out, I did not look at all the recipes, but the ones I did were not low carb. Might have to go back and look closer.
