| Has anyone using these tortillas, been able to enter them in FitDay? I tried to enter them as a custom food and it wouldnt accept the calorie count, message said that the carb, fat, and protien didnt add up to 80 calories. I entered the 46 calories it allowed for the information on the package. This is the first food that I had a problem entering on FitDay. |

| I haven't seen them available in our area yet, so I don't really know. In GENERAL, however, if fitday won't accept your nutritional analysis based on the calories, you're often talking about "hidden carbs." Hopefully one of the "mission" bunch will chime in here and add more info.

| I had the same problem until I entered calories as 50 then it accepted my numbers. For some reason sometimes (not always) fitday rduces the calories by the amount of fiber. But I don't think they should if it's not doen consistently. It should be done as follows from the Mission label: 2 g fat x 9 = ...18 12g carb x4 = ...48 3g protein X 4 = 12 so total cal =...78 The difference from the label of 2 calories is due to rounding. If this is the only way fitday will accept this custom food you don;t have much choice. |

| Thanks Rob! You've saved me the hassle of doing all that. I'm off to fitday.... Yes, that's weird, they don't count the calories from fiber. You know, DH and I often have this conversation and wonder about that vary thing. For the heck of it, I went and checked their listing for 1 oz. of almonds. Sure enough, they were not counting the calories from the fiber portion of the nuts. It will REALLY be interesting to see what we learn in the next 20 years regarding carbs. I don't think anyone has been paying attention but now they will be! I'd be curious to know what tidbits of info we take as gospel now we be found to be erroneous in the future!
