Thought it might be helpful for those of us who have used Carb Options to share info.

I've used the Carb Options BBQ sauce and I'm extremely pleased. Now mind you, I'm not a red sauce person, but the BBQ sauce is far better than the other LC one I tried.

It has a great consistency, with a little bit of hot spice. I love hot, spicey food so that part was perfect.

I made cocktail sausages in C.O. BBQ sauce (original flavor) this weekend for my family. The boys didn't even know it was LC.

What has everybody else used?

I have used the BBQ sauce also, I found it to be very good. I used it on a BBQ brisket yesterday, it was soooo good. So far thats the only carb options product I've tried, I would give it a 8 on a scale of 1 to 10. As a matter of fact I need to pick up another bottle today.

I really like this line of products!

So far I have used:
Italian Dressing
Peanut Butter(tastes just like real Skippy)
Cheese Sauce (great over veggies)
Marinara Sauce (good for "pizza" sauce)
Hickory BBQ Sauce
Chocolate Shakes (not as good as the Atkin ones)

I've used the Alfredo sauce and it was pretty good!

I will have to try that BBQ sauce though. I usually make my own but it's nice to have some on hand "in a pinch" or when I just need a little bit.

Great idea to start this thread!

I have used the Hickory BBQ sauce, and, IMO, it is a little too spicey. Next time I will buy just the regular. I have also tried the CO
steak sauce which is good, I thought. It tastes more like the Lawry's steak sauce instead of A-1, but if you are an A-1 fan, I think it would work.
I usually make my own Lc ketchup, but I am very anxious to try the Heinz LC ketchup that is already out? Haven't seen it here in OOOOOklahoma yet

I am so irritated!! I went to Wal-Mart today to pickup a few things including a bottle of carb options BBQ sauce, well in typical Wal-Mart fashion they didn't have any! I went to the other two grocers in our little town,Hopeing that maybe one of them had started carrying it. No such luck! so here I am with a quarter of a bottle of sauce and no chance of getting more until next week, if "wally world" gets any stocked. So I am going to hoard whats left in the bottle for myself, hubby can have the high carb kraft BBQ sauce. When I do find it again you can bet I am going to stock up.

forgot to mention that I have also used carb options peanut butter. I liked the taste and texture, but wasn't to happy about the trans fats in it! It said no trans fats on the label, but they were sure listed in the ingredients. I won't be buying it again.

I used the CO BBQ sauce with beef briskett last week. I followed the recipe on the website. It was delicious. I also used the whipped dressing in the Creamy Mashed Cauliflower. It was o.k. but I think I over processed it because it was too creamy. I then used the whipped dressing in tuna salad and it was fine. I've also used the steak sauce and it was good too. These are low carb products that will really take off.

I went back to Wal-Mart yesterday, and lo and behold!! they had actualy restocked the Carb Options BBQ sauce. Needless to say, I stocked up on it. I bought six bottles, was tempted to buy all they had on the shelf, But that didn't seem like the right thing to do. So I left the other six bottles for some other frusterated Low Carbers. Well, I'm fixed to enjoy low carb BBQ Brisket for a while.

I have been using the hickory bbq sauce and also the whipped dressing. They are both great! I used to really like Miracle Whip and the whipped dressing is a good substitute. I also mix 1 Tblsp whipped dressing, 1 Tblsp Atkins Ketch-a-Tomato and 1 teaspoon hamburger relish to make a passable thousand island dressing.
