While shopping this morning they only had walnut & pecan meal, no almond flour and I want to try that lc choc cake for Easter.

You can use pecan meal, but the cake will taste different than if you use almond flour.

It's like the difference between using all purpose flour and whole wheat flour. It just tastes different.

Also pecans have a little more oil in them.
