| Each SQUARE is 152 cals, even my DH who loves them seldom eats more than 2 squares. That's 300. They're so rich we don't bother with the butter, we just use a little SF syrup on them. Me, I eat 1 waffle, and 1 sausage patty or 2 strips of bacon. It keeps me satisfied all morning long. Char

| Ohh... man.... Do I have to buy a waffle iron now? I'm running out of places to hide my appliances.

| Yep, Mag, you will have to do that! I did. Don't make the same mistake I made though - I bought one of those cute little ones that can store upright but only makes 2 waffle squares at a time! BAD plan. So I had to go on eBay and buy another that makes 4 squares at a time - I managed to score an old GE that had never been out of the box! Probably somebody's wedding gift from about 20 years ago. It has nonstick removable waffle irons that flip over to do grilled cheese sandwiches on the smooth side, OR you can open the whole thing up flat to do eggs and stuff. Not that I would bother, but it IS cool and I like that it's removable and easily washable and it's BEEOOOOTEEEFUL chrome on the outside! Char

| Char, that sounds like my waffle iron! And yup, it's about 26 years old and still going strong. Looks kinda groaty now, tho. And Kim, I have to watch my calories too, so I don't make these too often. When I do, I usually have 2 squares, with a little butter and DaVinci maple syrup thickened in the micro with not/starch, along with some bacon. Then I just go real light with lunch. If going light with lunch doesn't happen, then it's real, real light with dinner!!

| I can't wait to try these! Waffles are one of those things I miss most. I often make whole wheat ones for the rest of the family on the weekends, and I am so excited to be able to make them for me, too! Huge thanks!
