| This makes a wonderful hamburger bun, it tastes like a whole wheat bun. It's very sturdy and holds up well with all the juiciness of a hamburger with all the fixings. 1.4 Carb Hamburger Bun 2 tablespoons of melted butter-0 1/2 pinch of salt-0 1 extra large egg-.7 4 tablespoons of flaxseed meal-0 1/2 teaspoon of baking powder.-.7 Mix together and put in the microwave and nuke for 1 minute or until center is set. Leave it in the bowl for another minute then turn it out on a cooling rack and let it cool. Once it has cooled take a long bread knife and slice the bun in half and make your hamburger as usual. I used a "grab-it" microwave bowl. It's just the right size to make a large hamburger bun. Carb wise this should be induction legal, I just don't know if flaxseed meal is allowed on induction. | I just wanted to give this recipe a big **THUMBS UP!!!** I've been making these 4 at a time and storing them in the fridge. They're dense and taste like a nice dark bread to me. Good toasted, too. I did sprinkle some onion powder in the mixture before cooking. YUM! :fork: Thanks for the recipe!

| I tried it with golden flaxseed meal but it did not turn out. Have to try the plain kind.

| I tried this tonight. It tastes fine and holds together really well, too. I'll have to try it as toast next time. |

| I tried this today for my DD and myself and loved it. It was so nice to eat a hamburger holding it in my hands! I used the golden flaxmeal and it turned out great. I had to nuke 1min20sec and used a little less butter. I would recommend this. |

| A friend of mine made this recipe and found it a but oily for her taste, she said she made it again and left out the butter and it turned out great. I have some pulled pork in the oven for supper tonight, so I'll give it a try and see how I like it. |

| It was wonderful split and toasted, with natural peanut butter. A very filling snack.

| Like Staci said..........."No weird ingredients!" I made it, sliced it, buttered it and ate the whole think by itself before it could even cool off. Now, that's my idea of a Revolution Roll. I'm curious to hear how toasting one turns out. And, like Kim said........... "How did I miss this recipe?" :great: |

| This is REALLY good! I made one this evening and most of my family tried a piece and everyone liked it. I'm going to make a few of these up to have on hand. And they are VERY filling.

| Sounds wonderful! My burning question is what type of container did you use to make it? Round? How big? Betty, the "grab-it" container you mentioned . . . is that by Glad? What size, or is there only one available in the stores? My anality (is that a word?) is showing!

| I made it in a small round corning ware container. It's about the size of a ex. large bun. |
