Sharron, I do that ALL the time with mine. Make a new batch of tea, drain it off and put your baby back in........like normal. The stuff you drain off, you can still drink. I sweeten mine with stevia, splenda and fruity syrups. I have to water it down because it's soooooooo strong. I don't think watering each "dose" will hurt anything. SO I pour like 4 oz. into a cup, add the sweetener and a couple ounces of water and taste it. If it's still too strong, I add a tad more water until it doesn't sting my throat. It's funny how when you let it brew a long, long time, it stings the throat. Or at least for me it does. Can you handle the mechanics of pouring it and stuff? Have DH help you if you need to, or one of your precious kids.

LOL Kim, I've been doing Kombucha brewing off and on for a good 10 yrs. and I'm still ALIVE!!!!! DH says I'm gonna poison myself with that "moldy" stuff, LOL. He says no amount of healthy explanations will make him try any of it.

BUT, he WILL eat blue cheese!!!! LOLOLOL

Bleu cheese is a favorite of mine. But when I read "kombucha" my first instinct is to reply with "Bless you." LOL

Who knows, one day maybe...but right now, I've got enough stuff on my counter and a ton of stuff growing in my fridge...I don't think I need to add to the clutter or the spores. :-)

that's cool. like i said somewhere on the board, i got some kefir at the store to tide me over (i know it's not the same, but i wanted to try it).

Okay, I mailed it today, you should get it by fri or sat!!!!!!! I sent you enough grains to do 2-3 cups of milk. I would start out with just milk to rehydrate them, 'cuz the first couple of batches won't really be drinkable. When it smells really yeasty, it'll be ready........about 3rd day. But you'll want to throw out the first couple of batches with each 24 hr cycle. After they are nice and rehydrated, go ahead and add the other type milks.........like cream or coconut milk. Have fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
