Default ACV questions

I have the Bragg's - there is no nutritional data on the bottle - are there any carbs in this?? Or if so, are they the kind of carbs we don't worry about??

Also, at some point I'll be reaching the bottom - what about the mother??? Toss with bottle? Or does it break up before then and mix with the ACV?
(Hubby has already made alien invasion remarks)

OH - one more - I'm trying to pour this from the bottle and measure it into teaspoons - messy to say the least. Any suggestions???? I figure at some point I'll be able to eyeball the amount, but I'm too new at this to try that now.

Thanks!

From the Apple Cider Vinegar thread elsewhere on the site...

"Kim,

Thank you for contacting Bragg. Regarding your question, there are 0.2
grams of carbohydrates per tablespoon of our Apple Cider Vinegar.

So there's the answer to that!

As for the mother...you should shake the bottle every time you use it to distribute the mother in the bottle so that when you pour it, the mother is in there. Therefore, at the end of the bottle, you should not have a lot left over.

And finally, when I am using ACV, I just pour a couple seconds worth (counting as I pour) in with my bottle. It's not exact, but it doesn't end up all over the counter.

Hope this helps!

Maybe it is just my bottle, but I don't have any trouble measuring it out? I do use a larger spoon than I want quantity, though. I have 1.5 teaspoon measure, but only take 1 teaspoon. Does that help??

I used to have problems with spilling, but I now place my teaspoon directly against the bottom thread where the cap screws on, and slowly pour. It prevents spillage and drips.
