Gilley, hang in there. We are all here for you

Here's another thing that doesn't go well with the ACV...coffee. If you drink it, be sure to drink it BEFORE the ACV. I find that ACV kills the taste of coffee. Too bad I wasn't warned about the brushing of teeth. I found out the rough way. LOL
But, the benefits out weigh the little adjustments!!!

Well, I have been stuck in a 10 week stall. Started the ACV this week. As someone else mentioned, I too am afraid I am not eating enough now! Last night I skipped the ACV before dinner, hoping I could eat a bit more. I was able to eat most of a hamburger patty with onions and mushrooms. My dog GusGus is loving that I can't finish my food! Last night I slept really poorly. Had a terrible time falling asleep, then woke at 3 and that was it. Four hours of sleep is nowhere near enough. I am thinking maybe it was because I skipped that last dose of ACV. Will have to experiment with that. Weighed this morning...I always weigh in on Friday morning...FINALLY broke my stall! I am down 3 pounds!! ACV...I think I love you!!

O*M*G Crystal - YOUR STATS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You're so close to goal!!!

Congrats on breaking the stall - I'm so glad the acv is helping you.

I've found lately that I do much better with 6 mini meals then the standard 3 biggies. You just can't over eat when your doing the acv.

BTW - I found when I didn't have it that my sleep as also effected.

Sharron - as you do the mini meals too - do you do a shot of acv before each one or just the 3 plus the night shot??

I'm trying mini shots before the mini meals today - will post results.

(and I shall call him Mini Me)

I can't really comment on how it affects mood swings, but DH did say this morning that I have seemed somewhat "hyper" lately! LOL Better than being droopy!!

i think i over did my self yesterday my body feels realy drained even w/ the acv.. my body is realy achy almost like im gona be getting sick.. but not realy... i dont feel sick at all!!!

anyway... iam working on cutting out my late night snacking.. its hard after i put the kids to bed to keep from forageing for something to eat... maby ill try takeing a shot of acv right when i put kids to bed so that i kinda curb any muncies i have...

I have found that possibly i become less hungry also beacuse i realy dont care for the taste of ACV.. ya know what it reminds me of - one time i was at my grandmas and she said there is apple juice in the fridge if ya want some ... "im not sure if its any good anymore tho" she said... as i took a bug gulp.. it tasted like a rotten beer..

gluck all

Okay, so I went out and bought a bottle of Braggs today. Between this thread and the other, it just seems like it's a miracle substance. Also, I've been having tummy problems lately.

I put a capful into 12 oz. and drank it on the way home from the HFS. Didn't taste too bad. Course, it ended up being a 1/2 hour before I ate instead of 15-20 minutes like I thought it would be. That's what happens when you have a 2 1/2 year old.

I took it right away for 2 reasons - 1) thought it would be correct timing before having lunch (wrong) and 2) my tummy was starting to hurt and I thought it might help (wrong there, too).

So... anyway, how long before I start seeing the benefits, like extra energy (that I so desperately need)?

Just curious. Even though I read both threads thoroughly last night, I was pretty tired and that's a lot of info to absorb.

Do you think I should start w/just a 1/2 tsp before meals? or a full tsp? Or 1/2 tsp on awakening, before meals, and then before bed? Please help/advise.

Thanks!

Hi Debby -

I take one tsp before each meal and one before bed. I try to do this 15 minutes prior, but you already found out that isn't always how it works (I've taken it right before - better in then out, yanno?)

I noticed a difference after one full day of taking it.

Same with me. I take it while I'm finishing up prep of a meal. Sometimes it is just before I sit down, others it is afterwards :o

I noticed benefits after a full day. I think they say usually to wait a week to 10 days, though. HOWEVER, if your tummy is still hurting badly, you should get thy tail to a doc, as it could be an ulcer or something more serious...

If I were you, I'd take 1/2 teaspoon before meals only to start. My ND said about 20 minutes before.

(((hugs)))

Sorry, gilley, somehow I missed your post?

Have you tried putting it into a glass with some stevia or splenda? It tastes rather like apple juice that way.

well the dreadful weekend is here, this is the part of the week where i dont do well with eating, supplements, and the sort, i did manage to get my 3 ktea servings, but only 2 of my acv. and not very much food at all. im no longer snacking at all and i know this is not good at all.

ive just taken a dose and about ot go to bed, didnt take the ktea this time, so hopefully i will have sound sleep tonight. If this rumbly tummy doesnt keep me awake too much, my body is detoxifying from the ktea and boy i can tell.

night night all, will give details tomorrow when i get off from work.

Sharron- You didnt miss my post sorry i never realy got it sent. I'll send you one explaining everything tho now..

I have had a problem today heartburn... here are 2 things i started doing agin that i hadnt done in a while.. the one i havent done since starting this WOL in january...

1- drinking coffee agin- i had 2 cups of coffee today one in morning one late in evening was laying on my couch watching a movie got up to go out side for my.. dirty habit of smokeing.. and was suddenly hit w/ acid reflux havent had this problem since beging of this WOL (when trying to go threw difrent spices that triggerd it.. )

2- i started eating those darn Pennrose sausages agin the HOT spicey ones.. they never triggerd my acid reflux befor so im thinking it might be the coffee.. it was horrible beacuse i do not have any acid reflux meds anymore nor tums.. so i found a stick of gum then 2 sticks.. trying to get it to go away and finaly it did.. but now my stomach is going nutz...

Tommrow i will start w/ doing my ACV and eliminateing all my trouble spots.. (and gona do a clean eat day.. (i realy need this)

well.. there was about 2 cups (1 big pier 1 import cup) left in the pot so i made a homemaid style capichino ... heated coffee up and made some home made whip cream tossed in some splenda mmm it was so good.. and i do love the way it makes my house smell.. i havent had any advers effects yet but i can tell its brewing.. if i ever plan on drinking coffee agin in my life i do think im going to have to go back on my acid reflux meds...

very tired today acv isnt helping but i guess 4 hrs of sleep will do that to you.
