Thank you all for your thoughtful replies! What a great group we have going here!

Here's the conclusions/decisions I've come to:

- I'm going to continue on the ACV for the full 10 days, which will bring me to Monday, Sept. 6th. I will re-evaluate at that time.

- I'm going to continue to weigh myself every day, but only log it into my spreadsheet once a week.

- I'm going to go back to egg/egg&veggie dishes for my morning breakfast. Definitely need that protein. May add some of Maggie's cereal or fruit or just extra veggies. Not sure yet... we'll see. I may/probably do need a few more carbs at breakfast after exercising. Going to try for bigger, better breakfasts... maybe this will help.

I got to thinking about this exercising in the morning thing. The last time I did it, I was on CALP. So, I had eaten plenty of carbs at my evening meal the day before. Therefore, there was more energy/carbs to burn when I exercised in the morning. Does this make sense? Maybe that's why it's harder/different this time around.

I'm not real good at this "listening to my body" thing, but I'm working on it. Maybe someday...

I do know that I probably don't need more water, though. I drink plenty... anywhere from 100 to 128 oz a day (way more than 1/2 my weight in ounces). Any more and I just might float away. The water habit carried over from my WW days (yes, I'm a lifetime member ).

About the dosage... not sure what I'm going to do there. Might add one in before bed. My mom upped hers to 2 tsps a day. Don't know if that's what I need or not. Sure wish my body would speak a little more loudly!

Thanks, ladies!

Debby, I'll bet you are right on track about the CAD and having more "fuel" to burn in the morning! Everything else sounds great.

I found when I started taking too much, I got noxious burps

I decided to change up my routine today. Somehow my adrenals have gotten confused and are giving me my morning "dose" in the late afternoon -- by 10 pm I'm full swing :o So, I took my Ktea with my workout and acv before eating bfast. I'll try to be more regular with it and see if it helps. Certainly can't hurt. I've not been doing very well with being regular about it since early last week...

Well, this starts my 3rd day of the ACV and I have to say I really like it!! I seem to have more energy, be in a better mental and emotional frame of mind, sleep better, and am less hungry. Feel like I've lost weight this week but I'm staying off the scale til Sat.

I do find that I am more thirsty--well, i'm not sure if it is thirst, or it's just somehow makes it easier to drink all my water, but for the past 2 days I have drunk all my water and then a bit extra with no problem.

The only thing i have noticed is a little stuffy head and nagging headache--could this be a detox thing? There are also colds going around here and new pollens popping out so it could be either of those.

I'm taking 1 tsp in 6 oz water on getting up, at 10 am, 3 pm, and bed time. Does this sound like a reasonable amount?

Old ACV timers, when and why would you increase the amount?
Thanks everybody!

Renee - ot - is that your puppy in your icon??? Cute as can be!!

Actually, reading through this thread, I think I'll be upping my amount as I've noticed that recently I've had *dramatic music*
THE HORRIBLE HUNGRYS
seems no matter what I eat, I'm scrounging for more far too soon after meals. I've really over done it on almond this week (keep a stash at work for "just in case" - which seems to be ever half hour all of a sudden -eek!)

Sharron, good to know about the urps - I'll be on the watch for those.

This should take care of that "problem" as well, though maybe not as quickly.

Angela, I really think you are detoxing. Please make an effort at the water -- plus you've got a tremendous amount on your plate right now... (((hugs)))

AR, I only get that way when I'm nearly on top of my cycle...?

Renee, I always increase when I feel like I NEED to. I try to listen to my body on that. One site says you can take like 2 or 3 tablespoons at a time.

April Rose--that is not my puppy--that's one of the avatars you can choose but he is cute, huh? I have 3 of my own, but no pics to post. 3 cats too but that's for another day.

I realized today that my headaches may be caffiene withdrawals. I was only dingking about a cup a day but i gave it up for good this week, along wiht starting the acv. So, I wil just ride it out...feeling a little better everyday.

FYI, I am also having pretty vivid dreams and remembering them. Weird.

Has anyone noticed an increase of sweating during exercise? I know I have. I guess I shouldn't complain or worry because this time around I'm not smelling like pickles. I'm just drenched after a workout class.
