WOW~~~

Lots of Happy Dancing coming from Japan!!! I hope that there is not an earthquake because of it. My friend is trying to get me to buy a web cam...if I do, I'll show y'all what it looks like!!!

I had a great "bad" day!! How is that for a statement!

Water: 1
Exercise: 0
Food: 0
Personal Goal: 0
Posting:1

Daily Total:2
Running Total:13

Weight lost:3.5

I overslept and did not get to the gym...I had back-to-back meetings and did not get to exercise today. Then I had a breakfast meeting and did not eat because it was just danishs. Then I had a luncheon and could not get out of eating because there were only a few people there and the others were making enough of a fuss about the food to make it really rude for me to not join in.

The meal was chicken salad with fruit in it, rolls and then a macadamian nut custard dessert with cream. I did not take a roll and tried to miss the fruit when I was serving my self...but I did eat the dessert and enjoyed it.

Then I cheated again with 6 little ritz bitz pieces tonight.

Not aweful, but not good either.

BUT!!!!!!! I did get my water and my posting in.

I have nothing to distract me tomorrow and I will be back to 100%.

I have been comfortable ALL day in my size 10 paints! That is a huge success!!!!

MaryKay! Thanks for showing up. I am sorry that you are not modivated right now. I hope that you can get yourself back! Remember that eating only makes you feel worse and not better. What about sugar-free jello or puddings which will give you a satisfaction without the guilt.

Blue! WTO on the no pretzels, bread, pasta etc! HUGE WTO on the weight! Bye-Bye 180s...Tell Steve to come and see us!!!

Janine! Good job with your weight. Also, I am glad that you are doing something. That really will make a difference in how fast the weight comes off and you start showing you true self!

Have a great day! I will be back. My computer is back up and running!

Holly

P.S.!!!We did get the house!!!!

Howdy!

Quick happy dance. I jumped on the scales last night after I posted and was down another 3 pounds (not an official weight in), so I decided to try on some of my larger size 8 clothes.

I was able to do them up and breath in them. That means that I have almost reached my goal (to be comfortably back into my size 8s)

I will update everything later, it is only 8:00 a.m. here!

Janine, so proud you must be of your little one. Congrats!!!!! I remeber when they let go of your hand and are off to face the big world. My oldest just made rank of Sailor in Naval Training today. I remember letting go of that little hand a long time ago and again only recently.

Blue,
Thanks. Many days I just can't believe it. My sis, who came to help out when he was born is amazed, too. One day you have them in your arms, and then they are off to see the world.
OK, I'd better stop before I get too sentimental.
Here's my update:

Water: 1 ( about 70 oz)
Exercise: 1 (finally made it to the gym today. YEA!)
Food: so far OK, no "cheats", but I think I'm still off somewhere. Just feeling the munchies. Not sure if it is just stress related or I'm higher on the carbs than I think and that is triggering it....
Personal Goal: 1 no cheats today

Hang in there Blue. We are pulling for you.

I am at 184.5 today. What was my start again? I know I had a lot of water weight on Monday from my weekend cheats. I have been here before. Deja vu, anyone? I hope that I don't get stuck on a plateau too quickly.
I think I need to be more careful about food. We all know how rough that can be. My 3 year old seems to be constantly snacking and asking for Tootsie Rolls.
At least she was begging for turkey slices for dinner.
Oh well, here is my update for now.

BTW I have taken four doses of Metamucil in the last two days and nothing. My gut is starting to hurt.

Howdy friends!

I am sorry that I did not post yesterday, thought about it when I headed to bed at midnight and was too exhausted, and dh was still on the computer...

I am still doing points! I have been doing great 99% of the time and doing little things to make it not 100%. Still I am down 6 pounds from when I started this little challenge, so no complaints. I also went through and pulled out my skinny wardrobe and there are a few outfits that I can wear (a little tight still)!!!

Blue! The only restriction on veggies is no high starch veggies. Everything else is a free for all.

Starchy veggies include: Pumpkin, sweet corn, green peas, dried peas, potatoes, rutabaga, yam, sweet potatoes, carrots.

Yes, constipation was a major problem when I did Atkins, but has not been a problem with SB. I think the extra roughage with more veggies on SB has help that problem. I also like Slippery Elm which is a herb. Sometime the Metamucil just fills you up. Slippery Elm should actually help you move. Good luck! I know that that is uncomfortable...I would imagine that when your bowels go "whoosh" the whoosh fairy would appear at about the same time!

Janine! I show that you started this at 189. That is 4.5 pounds! Looking great!!!!!...Gone forever!!!

MaryKay! Are you hanging in there!? Hope to hear from you today!!!

Have a great day!

Holly

Finally the great whoosh has come!!!! I actually had gained back the three pounds I lost by this morning. Well, hows this for a constipation solver? Was heading for the health food store for ACV and decided to take my "1 year old today" puppy with me. Thought I would take her out for a no bun Hot Dog treat! Instead she took a large BM in the backseat of my Jeep. I got so nauseas that I puked and turned for home. I cleaned up what was now walked in all over the seat and got so aggravated that the old gut started rumbling ( I have IBS with constipation) and I finally hit the bathroom myself. Well proud to announce I am back at 177!!! So if ever any of you need a laxative.....feel free to call...I'll send gypsy right over!!!!!
Thanks for the veg advice. You know I have been told all my life that I'm full of it...I guess I really was this time.

Holly,
I don't know about gone forever, because Ive been in this zone before, but I certainly hope so.

Blue,
Oh my gosh. What a story. I feel for you. Not a fun experience. on the 177, though.

Here' s today:

Water: 1
Exercise: 1 (yoga tape today, not as much as I'd like, but not bad for a weekend day. Did some walking probably 1/2 mile.)

I'm going to claim the point for goal for yesterday. Made it through with no late snacks. Yeah! Big deal deal for me.
Will check in tomorrow on weight. Down again today, but I won't list it until I get it twice.
Have a good night. See ya all tomorrow.

Boy Ladies! Not sure where yesterday went! Two busy days with catering dinner for church groups. Yesterday was more corrdination than cooking (150 People) and then tonight was cooking etc with only 13 twenty-something singles plus my 4 boys and dh!

Not good points wise. I can feel myself sabatouging (sp?) my efforts. I have to buckle down again.

Do y'all like this format or do you have suggestions for next week? I will check in tomorrow night, for y'all and award the bragging rights to "Top Dog" for the week! This has been great! Lots of pounds lost!!!

Oh, my Goodness Blue. I wasn't quite sure rather to laugh out loud (LOL) or puke my guts out reading your story. You are talking to someone who has sworn off having a pet for that very reason! I guess that you have to laugh or you will cry!

Have a great Sunday!

Holly

Hi, all.
Here's for Sunday. Boy, where did that week go? DS starts first full week tomorrow. I think DD is glad to be rid of him. Got to get into the swing of cooking dinners (which I've been slacking on again) and making good lunches for him. Got a new LC slow cooker cookbook that I am dying to try out. I'll let you know how it goes.
