Hang in there, Janell. I sure understand about the temptations...

I didn't eat perfectly, but not terribly yesterday. What did happen, however is that I had a bad allergic reaction. Thankfully, I'm only up .5 pound for it.

Starting off right today -- working on my water!

Yep, Janell....Tis the season for temptations, fa-la-la-la-la---la-la-la-la
Boy, can I indentify with that, except my tougher times seems to be at work where all the goodies and junk food is showing up. I'm a little more controlled at home, although one of our neighbors brought over some pumpkin spice bread(non LC of course) along with a doz snicker doodles fresh out of the oven.....oh my!

Well....hang in everyone. For me at least, I'm planning to be right back on plan Dec. 26th...I guess for now though, it's kind of a *Heaven help me* scenario, and I'm just taking it one day at a time.

What my big problem is -- is that I'm not getting my snacks in like I should. I get so terribly busy then I end up in the kitchen for a glass of H2O and I just snag something out of the cupboard instead of actually planning out a snack. I do much better when I have grapes on hand -- a few grapes and a piece of cheese do me very well.

I'll post how I've done today. I'm really not sure

Janell, go into IE and hit internet options. delete all the temp files and cookies then reboot. That should help!

I'm down another 1.5# and .5 inch. That means I've lost an additional inch and a total of 4# since reporting in.

Keeping plugging along.............

i'm not quite sure how, but i'm down another 3/4" and a pound this morning -- so that puts me back to my 4.5# loss plus an additional 8" gone!

i ate a wierd lunch yesterday, but felt it and about 1.5 hrs later had a good zone snack. i think that was how i managed to still lose. plus we went on a very long walk -- back from the mechanic, to the store and get my haircut then home -- about 1.5 hrs altogether!

i should be on track for christmas -- im cooking C eve might be harder cuz' i don't even know where we'll be for meals...

how are you other laides doing?

Girly
Good for you on getting those scales to move in the right direction
I'm totally off balance at this point; I try to have zoneful meals and do pretty good, but the nibbles and bites still continue to be a problem. Just 2 more days then I will be totally committed to get back and STAY in the Zone! I'm off work til Monday, so that will help...heh.
Next week will be very intense at work. I will take my food, but getting a chance to eat it will be the big problem. Oh well, we do what we can

Merry Merry Christmas to all!

Glad to hear things are going ok with your 2--hope your holidays so far have been blessed. We had a wonderful Christmas Eve with our kids/grandkids and today continue on with other family.

Am trying to be conscious of what I'm eatin. Had an ok yesterday but the cherry pie I just took out of the oven as a present for my Dad really looks good!!! So..... I'll try to plan around it and also look forward to Sunday when I'll be able to more easily get back on track.

Thanks for your support in 2004--I'm anticipating wonderful health and physical changes for all of us in 2005----Janell

Janell,
Happiest of Holidays to you!

I have not been very zoneful for almost the whole month...uugghh. Tomorrow is a new day and a new start; why wait for NY's? Like I said to my friend, I could do myself a lot of damage between now and NY's, so I might as well close out this year on a high note and be on plan I'm looking forward to a clean slate and fresh start!
Here's to health and happiness...and some lost poundage wouldn't be bad either

(((hugs))) girlie!

I was not perfectly Zone today, but SOOOOOO much better than the last 4 weeks!
I did have a 2 block Zone breakfast at 0515 and was very hungry by 0830! That's kind of sad when you think about it...sad that I had to have brekki at that ungoshly hour, and sad that I was REALLY ready for lunch at 0830...heh! I knew this week at work was going to be bad and so far it's proven to be true. Much more madness tomorrow!!
I just need to make it through this week and then hopefully, things will get better

shell,

i eat a 2 block snack at 5 then i eat a 3 to 4 block breakfast at 8 to 830. i don't think it is sad at all. a snack is not meant to last 4 hours! 2 blocks isn't a meal -- at least to me -- it is a snack. i never start the day with a 1 block snack, but i'm not usually ready to eat a real meal until later.

i did well today. i was afraid of lots of stress, but it all came out just fine. guess that is what happens when God answers prayer
