| from my journal: hi. sorry I've been so absent. whole family has not one, but 2 viruses. we've had fevers all week i'm eating what we can get at this point. thankfully haven't gained! saw d.o. yesterday. she wants an mri of my lower back. i'll keep you posted... |

| Awww, girlie.....so so sorry you and your *crew* are down :( Get well wishes to all! The crud that's going around is pretty awful, they say. Pretty zoneful today so far; only had 7 pro blocks, but 9 fat blocks...a little out of balance, but not anything drastic Working on #5 bottle of water; only 1 GT so far, so guess that will be my next beverage Got to go fold some laundry...lucky me...hah! | Again today, more fat blocks than carbs and pro. I feel pretty zoneful though. Did the 3 mi WATP; 5 bottles of water in and 2 mugs of GT. Will drink a double after dinner tonight. TGIF Shelley

| I really need to get back in the Zone. This being sick for time on end really stinks! I had my first zone-ful meal last night, but haven't achieved Zone again today. Last night we had steak and stir-fried veggies with a glass of raw milk. That sort of combo is always a winner for me. I can't wait till I can walk again, too, my thighs are starting to look like jell-o! |

| yea, i know, no choice, but it doesn't make me like what i see in the mirror any better ![]() i'm on a personal challenge of "NO BREAD (wheat products) for 2 weeks." so far i've done well today -- the stuff i've fixed for my family (toast, pizza) even smelled nasty. woo hoo! bfast was in the zone: leftover steak and veggies from the other night, an egg to dip my steak in, and a slice of apple are you remembering to measure? i was just watching the scale while i was down and haven't "gained" any, but the tape measure sure said otherwise |

| Was in the zone today. I went to the hfs for some things and found some organic bittersweet chocolate. It's Rapunzel, from Switzerland; it has 8 carbs for half a bar; unfortunately, it also has 19g fat. But since tomorrow is Chocolate day I probably should skip the chocolate all together since WI this am was less than desired. Up 0.5 lb!!! I'm still hoping I'm building muscle and that's what's masking the loss, but I've got to tell you, I was pretty upset that I didn't have a loss. I just KNEW and FELT that I would, yanno??? I did shed a few tears...then I kicked myself into gear and went on with my life Hope everyone is having a good weekend. Happy Valentine's Day to all! ![]() Shell

| .......hmmmmm. curious. are your clothes fitting any differently? I know you have upped your activity level. I was a good little Zoney yesterday. I think my best meal was that breakfast (always do sublimely on steak!), but my snack before bed was good too. I had a deviled egg half and a slice of apple. It did me well through the night I'm down 2# and 4.5" on day one of my "no wheat" challenge. Keep up the good work, Shell |

| In a hurry...will be brief. Fell out of the zone today at lunch. Our hospital catered in Zio's Italian as a gift to us for meeting budget last year. Had a few treats but did show some self restraint Also some bad news...the crown on a tooth that has been root canaled came off today! Well, that was an emergency trip to the dentist. Long story short. he was able to re-cement it back, but thinks eventually I will have to have a dental implant...and they run about $2200.00!!!!! Yikes!!!!!! Did the 3 mi WATP when I got home from the dentist...needless to say I had to work off some anxiety from the dentist visit...LOL. 3 bottles of water and only 1 GT today...oh well, life goes on. | I fell out of the zone at lunch too, but it wasn't my fault! :( I thought I was making a good choice by going to a little tacqueria where I knew I could get tacos on small corn tortillas (a good occasional choice for me as long as there are veggies too.) Well, we ended up with tacquitos because they would be much easier for the kids in the car. They put potatoes in the tacquitos I've not eaten a potato for 4 years! I burped them all day long and into the night. bleck. I got back in the zone later in the day, though, and still managed to drop 3+" for a total of something like 8.5" for the two days. I'm almost back to where I was before we all got sick. Hope I can keep it going past that!!! Started off today with eggs and apple. Here's to a good zonish day for the both of us |

| Was in the zone for breakfast, out at lunch, and back in for dinner! I gotta stop with the treats at work. I knew better, but endulged anyway; wished I hadn't after it was all said and done:( Anyhoo....did the 2 mi WATP after I got home; got in 4 bottles of water and am working on GT# 3 These are the worse 2 days of eating I've done since Jan 1. GGRRRRRRRRR!!!!! OK...tomorrow I plan on being very zoneful...ALL DAY!!! Girlie...potatoes in a tacquito????? OH NO!!!!! I know how you feel though...after eating that crapola at work, the indigestion was unreal!!!!! Another reason not give in to temptation!!!! | Ok-I'm here. Been busy at work and just ready to start a new class for my teacher certification program so have just been checking in to see what you two are up to-been slow on the email updates. From flu to potatoes---what a mess you guys are having! I'm trying real hard to be zoneful and get back on track after my trip but the m & M's are calling me! But I'm working my way through my 2nd bottle of water this morning already and planning a good lunch so I'm with you two! Walked yesterday on the treadmill and plan to get back on it 2 more times this week--that will help me feel better mentally as well as physically. Janell |
