Thanks Shelley-but then you just drop the reaction to pain meds! Girl--you've got to get better NOW....

Had a good day yesterday inspite of hearing my company is looking for a buyer. Dealt ok with the stress of waiting for the announcement. Just kept drinking my water--kind of humerous actually. We'll see how today goes morale wise--I'm going to make sure I have plenty of zoneful stuff around me all weekend so I don't love it. Actually saw a 1 lb. drop this week so far-that's what I need to see. Have a great weekend to you both. Janell

    I agree, Janell, I agree...

My MRI of my lower back is today. I did pretty well with eating yesterday, but succumbed to s/f choc a couple of times.

Dinner was very zoneful for me: chicken simmered in alfredo sauce and served over broc, with raw milk on the side. lasted several hours and had my brain function up enough to do my best friend's taxes

    Well, hey...
Sorry, I've been MIA...super busy at work; then by the time I get home and work out and cook dinner and do the dishes, then take a shower and get things ready for work for the next day.....I'm pooped out!! LOL.....and life goes on

Have not been in the zone very much the last 3 days. We have a dinner to go to tomorrow night with one of our docs and the endoscopy crew, so I will do *damage control* prior to dinner and hopefully can stay near the zone.

    Have a good weekend everyone

I've been doing well except for I've been needing choc. for migraine control... it truly does help when taken at the same time as my pain reliever.

I have no idea how I'm on the scale/measures, but have been wheat free (save my mess up) for a week.

Did good and did bad...LOL...at dinner last evening. The good news...I chose grilled chicken breast with steamed veggies and a small caesar salad. The bad news...DH and I shared a dessert. So I know I went over on all my blocks yesterday.

Having just a wee bit of a struggle getting back in the zone today. Did good with breakfast and lunch, but my afternoon snack is not keeping the *growlies* away
I think we may have an early dinner(grilled sirloin, steamed veggies and salad) just for that reason!

No loss this week...maintained...which is surprising, but I'll take it!!!!!!

Here's to a zone perfect week for us all!

You did something like a CAD RM. I do those on dates with hubby sometimes too

I had a great zone breakfast this morning: a small corn tortilla, about 1/4 cup black refried beans, scrambled eggs, 2 sausage links and about 6 grapes. It lasted me really well! Lunch was salad at JIB. I'm not sure about dinner yet...

Well....I'm off to sit in the dentist's chair for about 3 hours this morning...aacckkk!...wish me luck!

Had a zoneful breakfast and am sipping a mug of GT to calm thyself before heading over to the dentist...LOL.

I'll check back in later in the day...have a good one everyone

The root canaled tooth's crown I lost last week...well it took a filling out along with it in the tooth next to it...a back molar. My dentist said it would take a while to repair it...probably around a couple of hours. Then, I also had an appointment with the hygenist for my semi-annual cleaning, x-rays and exam. True to his word, the repair took almost 2 hours and the cleaning was right at an hour...sheeeesh.
I think I'm good for another 6 months...LOL...although he did mention I have another filling from the 1980's that will need to be replaced soon....sheeeesh again
    It's always something...

Pretty zoneful today. After the dentist visit though, I had to have something soft since half my mouth was still very numb from the lidocaine, so I spent 4 carb blocks on a soft biscuit and had a chicken tender minus the breading.

We are having rotisseri chicken and LC slaw for dinner so I will hop back into the zone

Just finished 2 mi WATP and some triceps exercises...working on the water and GT

Man-that dentist visit sounds like a marathon!

Had a very good day yesterday-exercised in the morning, ate in the zone and drank my water. Doesn't get much better than that for me right now! Today seems to be going well too-I think I feel healthier today and that's what counts! Janell

LOL....yes, it was the dental visit from toment...hehe. I can truly say, I didn't have THAT much pain, just a twinge or 2 with the drilling...aacckkkk....but, a dental visit with a drill will make my hair stand on end

Kinda had a bad day...I'm wondering if it was the wheat/carbs I had yesterday....hummm.
I was NOT in the zone today; ended up with a 13 block day and I haven't had a night time snack as of yet. Maybe I can get by without one...we'll see.

Day #53 of exercise; 3 mi WATP. Got in all my water, and am on 2nd mug of GT...so I don't think I'll get my 4 in for the day.

Can finally report a drop in 3 lbs!!! I think I may finally have kind of the hang of this thing. I feel good this morning --have been doing some good things no matter what--drinking my water, adding to the intensity of my workouts a little, not eating after 7:30 p.m. and really being conscious of the quantities I'm eating of blocks. It's just great to see a little weight go bye-bye! When I switched from the real low-carb thing to the Zone I had actually put 8 lbs. on somewhere along the way so this is a good step at last!!! Reading your posts has been very helpful because of the reality of how there are good days, better days, and not so good days but you guys always seem to bounce back. It's an inspiration!!! Thanks--Janell

Way to go, Janell!!!! WOOHOO...you go girl!!!:jump: Feeling good is what the zone is all about...no hunger, high energy, feeling of well being...YOU"RE IN THE ZONE

I am almost back in the zone...I did better at work today. Still had my snack about 2 1/2 hrs after breakfast, but did better, I think.

Day #54 of exercise for me: 2 mi WATP with extra triceps work and 25 abd crunches
DH and I went to our favorite little Chinese restaurant that's close by. I had broccoli beef with no added sugar in the sauce, and about 1/3 c steamed rice. We'll see how I do later in the evening...heh
Sipping on GT #3 and will get in one more bottle of water.
Tomorrow will be extreme at work...busy non-stop. Gotta go get things ready!

    bye for now

Getting closer to the zone, I think. Had some temptations at work today, and I chose the fruit and HALF of a cookie...which I am proud of

Day #55 of exercise: 3 mi WATP abs workout. 4 bottles of water in and will work on some GT later.

    How's everyone else doing?
