| sorry, i'm not doing well right now. can't say much about if i'm in the zone or not because of this blinkin' headache ![]() my best friend is supposed to start induction on the 1st (doc's orders) and i've said i'd do it with her. it might actually be dependent on my headaches. I know i need my apple/protein/fat snack at night to be able to sleep... we'll see. sorry i'm not so perky, but i didn't want to leave you hangin' here by yourself |

| I'm hanging in there. Had another good day and am pretty perky right now-of course, that's before anyone else comes in to work! We'll see after that. Sharron-hope that headache eases for you. I suffer from migraines also and have been having a pretty good month with one mild one that I "caught". Are you taking any supplements? My neurologist is big on one called Migrahealth--I get it at Walmart but it's also at drugstores. It's vitamin b12-riboflaven, feverfew, and magnesium--anyway, it's been a good help to me lessening the occurences and severity. Just thought I'd mention it-I also take a daily preventive tho so I think it's the combination that's helping. Hope you both have a good weekend-we're anticipating some snow flurries so I think I'll check out some soup recipes and prepare to settle in with laundry, quilting, and a good book--not necessarily in that order!!!! | Kind of a crazy day at work, but I knew it would be. Boy, it felt good to clock out and come home and workout! Hi-yaaaa...my best karate chop yell Semi busy week end planned...aarrgghhh. Janell, I'm jealous Off to do some chores ![]() Shelley

| Didn't eat exactly zone-ish today :( We were on the run all day furniture shopping, so you can imagine how that went...heh. We finally gave up and went to Chili's for dinner and I had steak and steamed broccoli, so that was a good thing. We are now at the *re-hashing* stage of all the furniture we saw today that we liked. I'm frizzled out! Stay tuned for part deux of this saga...LOL Shelley

| Went to 2 different furniture stores today, and back again to the one where we first saw the sleigh bed that caught our attention. I want to re-visit one more we saw last evening kind of in a rush as that store was closing for the day. Ate better today and I would say that I'm almost back in the zone. Did my 3 mi WATP for abs and 25 abd crunches today then we walked at least a couple of miles on top of that. Didn't get in as much water as I'd hoped for, and I'm sipping on my 3rd mug of GT. So, things could be worse I guess...LOL. Today was WI and I'm UP a pound! Hope it's muscle mass, but I can tell you I'm beginning to get nervous here. I've been pretty darn good with my eating and exercising, and haven't lost anything since the last week in Jan....aarrgghhh! I think it's time to make some adjustments; I am going to mull over some things, so we'll see what I come up with for myself 'til later... Shelley

| I know what you mean about making adjustments. I excercised 5 days last week, drank my water and did pretty good eating. But Sat. we went to a party and I snacked into the night-so now it's back to the beginning. Hopefully I'll see tht 3 lbs. gone again in a day or two but it sure is discouraging. But I just finished the treadmill and it's time to focus on getting ready for work-I know the best tactic I can follow is consistency so here goes! You 2 hang in there too. I know we're doing the right things-we just have to be more persistent! Ok-that's my thought for the day!!!! |

| Hi Janell ![]() If I'm anything...I'm persistent...LOL...just ask my husband...hehe I think I've been persistent with the zone and my exercise, but things just aren't moving. BUT......I'm not giving up, giving in, or quitting!!!! One tweak I've decided on is omitting the chromium gtf I was taking. I dunno...maybe my insulin is suppressed TO much. Just a thought. I will leave my other supplements as is. Another tweak which will be a whole lot harder...I am going to try to enforce for myself the *no eating after 7PM* rule...so wish me luck on that one...LOL. More tweaks to follow, I'm sure. Today was day #59 of consecutive exercise for me. Did the 2 mi WATP abs with extra triceps work and 25 abd crunches. Got in 3 bottles of water so far and 3 mugs GT. We revisited one of the furniture stores, and now I am TOTALLY confused!!!! <sigh> Got to run....hope we all have a good week and show a loss!!! Shelley
