Unhappy weightloss standstill

Hi All,

This is my first message and I'm hoping that you like-minded people can offer some constructive advice.

I have been on Atkins for over a year now - ok I have had my carb binges here and there but I've always got back on track easily enough.
Anyway, I seem to have come to a standstill with the weight loss. I am stuck at 140 pounds, which is pretty good but I would like to drop to around 130 - 133. Some say this may to be too much but I was 120 pounds with no effort until I was around 24 years old (I'm 29 now) and know that my body suits a more petite figure.
I do some exercise, albeit sporadic, but I have an active lifestyle it's just that the extra pounds won't budge. I have also stayed on induction for long periods but this doesn't seem to work.
Any advice and info and getting past this final hurdle would be much appreciated.

Many Thanks,

Fiona

Sorry all, I am a newbie after all.
This message doesn't really belong here but I've posted it on the Atkins/Lo Carb Forum.

I too would like to lose 5 or 6 more - and I've been at the same weight for almost a year now. The less you have to lose, the slower it goes, and you (and I) may also be trying for a weight that is too low. Or maybe I just don't want it that bad, who knows? If it means having to go back to counting and measuring, I DON'T want it that bad. I think when you get so close, calories count too, and that 5 pounds just isn't worth that level of effort to me. Maybe have your body fat % checked, you may be at a perfect weight for your lean mass percent right now!
