Well,
Ginger, I'm really glad for you that the scales have started moving. That is such a confidence booster, to have that reassurance; you are doing good
As for me, well, I just don't know. I don't go off track that often...really, I mean maybe once a month, or less, I'll have a "legal" carb splurge. Well, today, I just fell off the wagon big time. I think I am at the point, of losing hope that this woe is for me. I thought, "what the hell, I'm not losing anyway, why not?" I'm so disgusted...WHY doesn't this work for me? I can't seem to get going in the right direction with the scales. If I could just have some sign of encouragement...
Sorry to be a cry baby....I just need to do something, I just don't know what at this point.

Shelley

Hey Shelley, don't give up!

I never view an instance where I don't follow the plan as a 'cheat'. (Who needs the guilt that word implies!) I have made a choice to eat something I shouldn't... now I can choose to get back on track and take care of myself the way I should! I have the exclusive POWER to make my own choices.

Let us help you over the bump... post a couple of days of your menus for review and let's see where things could be tweeked a bit. I see in your profile that you're a nurse. Even if the scales aren't moving, you KNOW the health benefits are there for you.

If you haven't already, get out your measuring tape and look at the inches. I lose inches even when that nasty scale isn't moving a bit.

YOU CAN DO THIS!!!

Ginger

Ginger hi,
Thanks for the encouragement. I guess my attitude is a little better today...LOL. I am eating LC for the moment and told myself to get back on track this morning. Unfortunately, the measuring tape isn't any kinder to me than the scales
If you want to take a look at my food intake, I post in the temporary journal forum under "Shelley's Journal"...that's sweet of you to take the time and try to help me out. I think it may be time to crunch the old calorie count...aarrgghhh! One of the attractions to LCing for me was NOT to have to count calories, but nothing else has really helped, so......
Anyway, for now, I am going to continue on the PP plan I guess.
Thanks bunches!

Shelley
