I haven't been in good control recently. I have been craving fatty foods. WW WI tonight. I am expecting a gain.

Today, I am planning on one of the WW smoothies mixed with FF organic yogurt, water, ice cubes, cinnamon, fresh lemon juice (1 lemon), frozen strawberries, and a frozen berry mix. I threw a bit of olive oil in there too. I figure it is 4 points total. I am having one for breakfast. I will probably have one for lunch as well. Then I can have almost anything I want for dessert.

How are you guys doing?

Hey!

Well, so far this week has been good. Although I have used up 10 of my flexpoints ALREADY...hehe....and it is only Tuesday. For some reason I am just really hungry.

?

Oh well, I am off to the gym this afternoon to do 30 minutes of cardio and lower body weight training gaining about 5-6 activity points...so that is kinda a salvage. Hehe. Tomorrow I will also get my arse to the gym for another 5-6 points. Now provided I can stay at my 22 points per day, I am golden.

I have a question about activity points. Does on consider the elliptical trainer and weights "high intensity level"? What about ice hockey?

-Krystyne

P.S. Stick with this Ilse! So what...a gain.... I see that all the time...hehe. It's gonna take a while to get this thing right so hang tight!

I ended up not going to my WW meeting as my DD canceled on me. Instead, I went to a party to say goodbye to the head of our department. It was interesting. I haven't figured an alternate time to go to WW this week.

One of the teacher's I work with brought me a Good Humor bar. He stayed in the room and ate his, so I ended up eating it. Not my best choice!

Today is another day....

Hey everyone!
I still havent jumper on the WW band wagon yet! I have been reading the GI diet whivh I like but I like the fact that WW has better easier recieps.
How much did you gain at first laffingbead? I am up to 130 when I was 20 so I guess whatever direction I go in I dont care as much!
The only thing I like about GI is that it;s a little LC but I can have yogurt which I LOVE!
I just dont know what to do!!! I want a good healthy WOE and found that Atkins (sfter 3 .5 years) isnt for me right now, but I am so carb o phobic!
With WW do you find that you overeat? When I was doing WW before I found a loophol and would just overeat on the crap stuff like, chocoloate graham crackers with cool whip.I just worry that I will find a way to overeat.
Is there a LC WOE while doing WW?
Sorry about all of the questions-I just want to make an informed decision on what to do!Thanks

Hi twinmom - I was much the same as you - couldn't decide where to be with my WOE. After about 3 years of trying one plan (which sort of worked -but wasn't comfortable) and I stuck at 75kilos forever and then started to regain it all. I did a lot (and I mean months!) of research for myself so that I had a much better understanding of nutrition, including the food groups and their functions. Then I put my own plan together (diet and exercise) I KNOW I can stick to my own plan - no matter where I am or what I'm doing. I also need to feel I'm not restricting myself otherwise I get really grizzly and resentful! This plan works wonderfully for me. Everyone is different. The plan I need is one that doesn't rely on buying special brands or following instructions - I want to be SURE I can manage it on a long term basis MYSELF! (Then again - some people really like following a given plan!) I wanted to be able to create my own recipes and rely on what was in the fridge or the cupboard to put together a good meal. There is lots of good advice on this forum - the trick is to take what you need and what works best for YOU from it all! I hope you find a WOE that suits you perfectly and permanently!

Having the stomach flu had its advantages. I was down 4 lbs at the Saturday WI.

How is everyone else doing?
