Well, it's pretty satisfying and there's a school of thought out there that fermented foods, in general, are good for the metabolism.

Based on my BGL reactions, I generally have kefir 4 oz or less at a time. If I drink enough to jack up my blood sugar, then I get a crash and get hungry after about 2 hours. Kefir cheese, I eat at will.

Eaten or drunk, I do find it to be a satisfying food/beverage.

Glad to hear it! They're from a very prolific family, so you'll have more than you know what to do with before long.

Nope, didn't get card yet. I'll let you know when it comes.

You're not alone! I have 1/4 to 1/2 cup in the morning and sometimes completely forget to eat lunch!!! Have to force myself to eat a little something for lunch sometimes! I do find it a very satisfying breakfast though, I've never been hungry before at breakfast and I find I really enjoy the Kefir. Makes me function better at work in the morning and for the rest of the day!!! You do have to make sure you remember to eat a little something later on though.
