| Well, Ali, these items are a YMMV (your mileage may vary) issue. The two hershey products may be sugar free, but they contain a lot of sugar alcohol ... primarily lactitol and maltitol, if I remember correctly. Some people have a reaction to most sugar alcohols that is a lot like eating sugar. Blood sugar rises and cravings set off. Also, there is a real laxative effect from most sugar alcohols. Unfortunately, Hershey discontinued their 1 carb line of products, which had the less troublesome erythritol. You'll just need to experiment, I suppose. If you get off track, these would be the first items to suspect.

| Ali, Sorry I didn't see your post until today. Use unsweetened cocoa powder for your chocolate ricotta creme desserts. Also, he mentions using 5 mini choc chips in the ricotta cremes in phase 1. The sugar free davinci syrups are good, but might make the ricotta creme to thin; but worth a try. HTH

| Have any of you tried the SF Hershey choc. syrup? I got a bottle of it and didn't like it. I don't know if I just got a bad bottle or if it normally tastes like that, but my daughter and I tried it and thought "Yuk!". |

| I'm not a big choc syrup fan so I can't help you out. I have been allowing myself to have 1-2 of the Hershey's or Russel Stover SF/low carb chocs a day, which has helped me with the sweets cravings. |
