| We all love pasta. That's why we are all doing low carb now! Actually, depending on the type of plan you are following, you might be able to have limited quantities of Dreamfields pasta. It is real pasta, but is digested differently from other pasta. Some find it does affect their blood sugar levels, others don't have a problem. Usually if it's eaten with adequate protein, it should be ok, but not as a staple of your diet, only as the occasional meal. Some make things like lasagna using zucchini in place of noodles. Check the cooking sections of this forum and see how creative some of these people are.

| carbofree - me - I grit my teeth and go without the pasta (and the potatoes, and the bread, and the.....and the....and the...............) well - I'm sure you get the picture! Someone on here has a journal (I think) entitled 'Nothing tastes as good as being thin will feel'.........and that says it all for me! Best wishes for success. |
