Default Found Shangri-La

In the last two weeks, after 2 years of not having any, I have refound my focus.

I am in Shangri-La. I have appetite suppression and have started lose weight again instead of going up and up and up.

Maybe my orthopedic doctor will eventually stop recommending I get lap-band surgery, as I can do it on my own.

Just wanted to let you know.

Hi,

I finally remembered my password so I could post here. It is nice to have someone else to try to get a discussion going.

Patsi,

How long have you been on the road to Shangri-La? I am thinking of making up a business card, explaining about it in brief to give to people. What do you think?

Down to 302 this morning. I am at 14 pounds lost in about 3 weeks. I did have two days with barely eating anything, as I had gotten sick earlier that day.

The oil needs to be flavourless like Extra Light Olive Oil. Tha amount of oil depends on how much weight you need to lose. They suggest starting with two tablespoons a day, taken at two different times. Make sure that an hour before and an hour after the oil, you have nothing but water, keep it flavorless. To begin with you might feel a bit uncomfortable with the oil, as your stomach needs to develop enzymes for it.

Many people get appetite suppression. Their obsession and cravings with food start turning around. Many people get turned off by fast food and will want healthy, whole food.

There are other things to watch out for. The website is a great place to be additional ideas. The website also has a place for FAQ.

This morning, I am 301.2. That is 1.4 pounds for the week and 14.8 pounds in the four weeks I have been doing this.

I think my system got goofed up last week, as I had 3 days of vomiting (due to a new food I had tried)

This is interesting. The flavorless part makes sense combined with a snippet I read from Dr. Oz about the fact that we have so many flavors in our diet it contributes to our over-eating.

I am assuming you combine this with LC? Makes sense... the oil fits right in.

I am going to look for the book tomorrow and read more.
