| I just wanted to know if during the induction if your blood sugar actually raised. My blood sugar has been diet controlled..even after a pigout at the local all you can eat.. , but this morning after having headaches all day yesterday on day 1 of induction checked my blood sugar and it was 202..whew..way high for me. Also, how is your blood sugar now? Thanks |

| Hi, there. Yup. We're here. LOL! I started this way of eating specifically for the purpose of controlling my BGL's. Since 1998, most of my A1c's have been perfect. My day to day BGL's are generally excellent. However, I do note that I will experience the usual rise (not usually alarming, but an overall rise) in BGL's associated with inflamation or trauma. For instance, a year or so ago, I had an accident and broke a few ribs. In spite of no changes in my way of eating, my BGL's were up a bit for the first week or so. What sort of diet were you controlling your blood sugars with previously, and which low carb program are you following now?
