Default Schwarzbein Principle

Hello! I'm new to this discussion board, but have been doing Atkins for several months.

I recently switched to Schwarzbein Principle, since her plan helps with adrenalin/cortisol burnout symptoms, which I sometimes have.

So far, I'm on about 40-60 carbs a day, feeling better, but have very little loss.

Is anyone else doing Schwarzbein?

Welcome, Becky.

I know we've had many people over the years who have followed this plan, but not sure if we have any current followers. If we do, I'm sure they'll join in here.

(I can't do Schwarzbein, since I'm T2D and I can't control my BGL's without a very restricted carb regimen.)

Hope you'll make yourself at home.

Welcome Becky! I followed Schwarzbein principle for about 4 days and gained 2 pounds. So I don't think that plan was for me. I enjoyed reading her book and the plan made sense. She did mention that at first you might gain weight following her plan but I don't recall what the reason was or if she even gave one. Perhaps it isn't for you either or maybe you need to give it more time. That's your call!

Hi Becky! I'm new to this forum too! I just started getting serious about the SP. I've had some weight loss (5 lb in 2 weeks), but I'm sure most of it is water loss. I am still in the feeling icky state as my body "heals". My coworker is also following the SP and doing well. She says she feels great and has really begun losing weight. I know Dr. S. says you may initially GAIN wt on the program, so try to hang in there! Best of luck.
