It is great to have a new place to post because I was not sure where to put my question.

Are any of you following the Blood Group diet and if so, how are you getting on with it.

I am going to hunt around and find some info.

Take care,

love louloo. x

I believe if you follow some of the links in the "water-cure" thread (about the benefits of sea-salt, it will take you to some blood type information) The water-cure thread in found in Everything Else, I'll try to bump it.

Looloo, I have two acquaintances who follow Peter D'Adamo's "Eat Right For Your Type." One follows it very strictly, and the other uses it more as a guideline.

I used to just roll my eyes at the concept, but like every other plan, it does seem to work for some people. For others, following the plan hasn't seemed to make a difference.

One way my "guideline" friend uses it is when he's not feeling well, having trouble with his weight, or otherwise "off." He'll check the book to see what foods he might be eating lately that aren't for his type. Then he drops that food to see if it makes a difference. So in that regard, if perhaps we think a food sensitivity is behind our our health or weight issues, looking at the appropriate food lists "might" give us a place to start.

Here's the "official site."

D'Adamo's Site

and here's a site with lots of info, including the foods for each type.

Food Lists

It's an interesting concept; I'm just not sure there's any hard science to support it.

Hi and thanks for the links, I will have a look later. I was just interested, because I have loads of allergies, I thought it might be worth a look.

I am following the Paleo WOE and I am doing ok with it, but I am always interested in finding out new things.

I have been meaning to look at the Water cure thread for sometime, it is finding the time that is the problem, LOL

So thanks again both of you, you have both turned up trumps with the links that I wanted.

Take care,
love Louloo. x
