so ,, this is what that site said about the ACV.. it gave less amount for other things.. but for weight loss.,.:

    Portliness
It helps in the case of overweight people or people who have cellulitis by destroying excess fat in cells, whether or not it is combined with a diet. 2 tablespoons, 2 or 3 times a day, will promote progressive weight loss

HeyKim - the Bragg's aminos is a great sub for soy sauce or worchestershire. Marinating, stir-frying, so on........

Connie....I sure hope I like my kefir! I got my grains yesterday, I am all set to go and brew. My kids thought that they looked funny, and my daughter said she can't wait to have a kefir smoothie. I like it when she is my guinnea pig!

COOOL!!!! Kim I'm so glad you got them finally. They look all shriveled and yellow 'cuz they're dried. They should rehydrate, plump up and then get whiter and gelatinous. Good luck with them. Let us know if you have any questions about it.

I'm sure using kefir grains are healthy and all that, (in fact, I've tried kefir... pretty yummy in smoothies) but man, those grains sound nasty.

Anyhow, ACV! I've decided I like it as a nice little beverage. 2 tsps in a big glass of water with stevia to sweeten. The trick is to drink without smelling first. The smell is strong, but the taste is fine.

Too funny about the kefir grains, Libby! Actually, they are more of a curiosity than being icky.

I'm liking having the ACV water too - seems like you get over the smell or maybe it evaporates as I'm sipping it.

I'm with you heykim. I do 1 or 2 Tbls in about 6 oz of water and chug it down. I then have to drink more water after that. It is a great way to get more water in me. I only do it twice a day though. Maybe I should add another one. The only problem is, if I do it to close to bed time, I can't seem to sleep. That is how I know it speeds up your metabolism. I feel like I need to get out of bed and jog or something...

No ACV after 7 pm for me.

heykim, I tried taking the 6 tablespoons a day and ended up with a bad tummy ache.

I'm not taking it for "weight loss" == I'm taking it for general health. This whole thing started when my ND recommended it as a digestive enzyme for me.

I find if I take 1 teaspoon at bedtime I sleep more soundly.

    We're all so funny

Well I started with the acv. I am taking 2 teaspoons twice a day. Is that good? I don't mind the taste, but all I can smell the rest of the day is vineger.

    Good luck all!!

Did anyone notice headaches in getting used to the ACV. I've had a slight headache since I started it. I have also noticed I do have an appetite loss. That's a very good thing.

    Suzette,

Correct me if I am wrong, but did I just read that you've started ACV and the watercure at the same time???

Please, don't do that -- too much on the system and you won't know if or which is helping you...

    Blessings!
