No, not the grains themselves, but the rosacea breakout that happens every time I start imbibing.

I left off drinking kefir for a few months to see if it was the cause of my weight gain (no), and then decided to take it up again. Within 24 hours, after drinking 2 (two) glasses of the stuff, I'm currently experiencing the worst breakout I've had in 4 years. I'd like to continue drinking it, but if I want look at all presentable...any advice?

Wow, Dryad, so sorry. I wish I knew enough to tell you whether you were having a de-tox reaction (which would be a good thing) or an allergic reaction (not so good, eh?)......

Do you know how to do muscle testing (applied kinesiology) either on yourself or with the help of someone else, to check for sensitivities? It's a little "far out" for a lot of people, but you strike me as having an inquiring mind......."

JinniLynn,

Yes, you can drink kefir. There is some information on this forum about kefir and I have info on my website, link below. It is rather like yogurt only better.

Dryad,

I suspect you are having a detox reaction as Bren suggested. I do describe muscle testing on my site though.

Blessings!
