I have to second (third? fourth? fifth) what everyone says about these little guys. Like happy purring tribbles in a hold full of quadro-triticale, indeed.

I have live grains to share, which I think I would send in milk like Maggie did. I'm in Jersey City, NJ and can easily meet up with people in NYC.

I live in NY (upstate) and was wondering if it would be possible to get some kefir grains mailed to me. I could paypal someone. I'm lactose intolerant but wanted to give it a try; I might be able to get my hands on some (unofficial) unpasteurized goats milk and altogether, maybe I could digest it.

Have you tried some commercial kefir first, to see if you can tolerate it? I don't believe that goat milk has less lactose than cow's milk, so this might be a good test for you.

If you can tolerate kefir, and you want some grains, please PM me with your adddress and I'll send you some.

Hey all -- talk about a long absence! I am updating now as I've had requests for kefir grains in Indonesia but we no longer live there. NOW we're in Angola, Africa.

However, during the summer time we are in Alabama and I usually have dried grains on hand so if anyone needs grains shipped them I will be glad to help out.
