| I am not regular with out some kind of fruit.I have read that during the fist 14 days "no fruit". I need advice from those who have simular problem. ![]() |

| Gypsymoontravelor, Welcome! You will absolutely love this board and all the wonderful people here. Which LC plan are you following? It sounds like maybe you're following Atkins. If that's true, then there is no fruit during Induction (the first 14 days). Just an FYI, you've posted this question in the Carb Addict's forum which is really for those people following the CAD or CALP plan. If you're just trying to LC and haven't picked a plan yet, then Laura Richards book, The Secret to Low Carb Success, might be something you want to read. It compares all of the LC plans. If you have decided on a plan, do you have the book? It's always good to have a copy to refer to. This board is great... but the book is important, too. About regularity, Dr. Atkins recommends psyllium husks to help with that. You can get them at a HFS. I think they even make caplets. Hope this helps. Good luck to you in your journey! | If you eat lots of RAW GREEN veggies and drink plenty of water you should have no problems, but if you do the husk thing seems to be the answer. Jackie |

| If you use a dietary fiber suppliment, you may gain for a few days until your system gets used to this type of fiber. I make a protein shake at least once a day.
