| One of my co-workers just commented to me that it looked like I was losing weight, that she could see it in my face and neck. That's the first compliment I've received since starting this woe back in January. Even though the scale hasn't moved -- in the right direction, that is -- for a month, something must be happening. | Yeah for you! Isn't it great when people start seeing a difference? And... I bet it will help you to keep on keeping on during this period of no loss.Have you measured yourself yet? That's a good thing to do. A lot of times when the scale shows nothing, the tape measure does. Which is what I'm sure this co-worker noticed. Debby 206.5/158/140?130? | It's weird how weight loss and size loss aren't always hand in hand. But it is so true. I went through a long time of my weight not budging but my pants kept getting just a little looser so I learned to be happy with that. Keep up the good work! You will get where you want to be - and people will see a happier and tinier you! |

| Sometimes, it's amazing how much weight you have to lose before someone says something. I've heard some people don't think it's ok to talk about someone's weight, so they don't say anything. Comgratulations and good job!

| I must admit I am guilty of being afraid to mention someone's weight till it is so obvious it would look like I was a moron not to notice. And I kick myself everytime I feel my mouth clamp shut since my nature is to make positive comments. It's all from one time when I asked someone when her baby was due and she had already had it (hey, at least she had been pregnant!). But it was a really embarrassing situation. Now I don't say anything about size. I mean, suppose the person wasn't trying to lose weight but it was from some disease or cancer treatment? Yuh, I know I'm paranoid, but you never know. Though I should make a comment to a pretty close friend who looks like she has trimmed down a bit. I have been on the fence for months now. I am going to go for it and let her know she is looking thinner. Wish me luck! |

| If I know someone has lost weight, even though I don't see them often enough to tell, I still try to say something, as I like it when people notice my weight loss. It helps encourage me. But, that's me.
