| I'm checking in early for next week since we leave on vacation early in the morning. Now I just have to stay on plan for the next 7 days of eating out for every meal. I must say, knowing that I will have to report in here is strong incentive. Laly CALP 1/17/04 216/202/140 2/6/04 |

| Laly, You can do it!! Breakfast - eggs and bacon or sausage plus side salad or side of veggies (LC, of course). Lunch - salads (chef, chicken ceasar, etc.) w/ranch dressing (usually the best when out), burgers w/out the bun, etc. Dinner - whatever you want (yeah!)... of course try to keep it in balance. Be sure to get your water in too... that will help a lot. Good stats for last week... Glad to be of help in keeping you motivated. Know that you can always check-in mid-week (or whenever you want) if you need that added boost or have particular questions. Have a great time on vacation! Debby 206.5/157/140?130? | Thanks for the encouragement, Debby. I'm feeling pretty positive right now. I managed a box lunch event today without slipping -- ate the tuna, lettuce and pickle, left the bread and gave the chips and chocolate cookie to my neighbor. It wouldn't have been a balanced RM, and a nice dinner sounded better. I'm taking a true vacation this time, and leaving the laptop at home. It's been a long time since I've done that. | Well... here's my official stats. Still only down 1 pound on actual (been same weight 3 days in a row). Average is now down 1.9 pounds. Last night my RM was not at all balanced... and then I had a treat about an hour afterward (shame on me). Then... in my mind, I planned to cheat today too. Do any of you ever do that or am I just weird? Anyway, I have it together today. Most times a good night's sleep and the morning weigh-in bring me back to reality. Sometimes I just get tired of having to watch, ya know? ... especially when I have a DH who can eat whatever he wants. But, I know I need to lose at least 16 more pounds just to be healthier. So, I will keep at it. Although, some days my weight right now doesn't seem so bad... but, when I think of having to be in a swim suit this summer, it doesn't seem too great (my weight, that is). | Karen, how did your week (and weekend) go? Haven't heard from you yet. Today I'm just wanting to eat junk. Messed up last night with popcorn (a whole bag) after my RM. Don't really know why I did it. Anyway, struggling through today. I just need to keep at it!
