| Hey, everyone! How was your week? Laly, how was your vacation? Hope it was nice and that your eating went better than mine did last week. Had 2 days that were TOTALLY off plan. So, this puts my actual up 3 pounds and my average up 1.6 pounds. Yikes! Got in 20 minutes on the stairmaster this morning. Plan on exercising at least 3 times this week (hopefully 5). That should help. Plus, back to better eating!

| Hi Debby, The vacation was fantastic. I did pretty well staying on plan until we started the cruise. The lunch buffet the first day did me in. I OD'd on desserts, decided to just call it my RM for the day, then did the same thing at dinner. That evening I was snapping at my DH and DD and felt lousy. It didn't take me long to realize it was all that sugar. So the next day I got right back on track. The dining rooms actually had sugar-free crustless cheesecake as a dessert option, so I was able to have relatively decent RMs and still enjoy dessert. The ready availability of food at all times was not really a problem since I don't have those carb cravings any more. However, I braved the scales this morning. I'm up 3 for the week, up 1 for my average (but I didn't weigh all week so that's not really accurate). <Sigh> I'm disappointed, yet not surprised after my sugar orgy that one day. It sure could have been worse. Now I'm fighting a head cold that I picked up on the trip. Maybe I can count at least one pound for all the gunk in my head? Better eating for both of us this week!

| Laly, I'm glad you had a wonderful vacation... and that you got back on track right away after one slip-up. Good for you! Sorry to hear about your cold. I've found some soups on this site that I like when I'm sick. So far my favorite is the Green Soup. It's always hard because carby stuff seems so attractive when you're not feeling well. Hang in there! I'm confident that we'll both have a great week!
