| you should limit your intake of fruits to levels available in the winter season. Okay this is what it says in the book so, what are winter season fruits?? I'm assuming this would be certain berries?? (By the way, got my book yesterday and have been reading ever since!! LOL) Maybe one serving of berries a day should be okay? Also, it says to cut back on some veggies if trying to lose body fat. My mind is telling me that would mean keep veggies green, like spinach, celery, lettuce, radishes and cucumbers, the lower carb veggies. I'm sure i will have more questions and ideas as i read through the book over and over! Have a great weekend everyone!! kelly |

| Hi, Believer, I eat a small serving of berries almost every day, and I seem to keep losing. I don't remember the part you're quoting about veggies, but what you say makes sense, about staying with the lower carb ones. I find I can have such things as tomato, green pepper, some carrot, and artichoke which are all higher in carb and also keep losing. Glad you're having fun with the book - it really is inspiring, isn't it? Alice

| The scale was down 2 pounds this week! And this is the week I've been eating peaches with my berries and not walking. Believer, I know you'll figure out what works for you as you live the Neanderthin wol. Alice

| I stopped drizzling honey on my frozen fruit...the extra honey wasn't helping. I try not to restrain myself from eating whatever bananas and grapefruit I want though. I tell myself it's hard enough to be without bread and rice AND to be getting over a refined-sugar addiction. So until my body adjusts, I eat all the fruits I want until my mood stabalizes. But that's just me though.

| Fruit has been working well for me so far. I keep eating the peaches with my berries and I still keep losing. Will experiment with more fruit as the growing season progresses. I won't touch honey until I reach goal. Write Girl, keep us posted on how you're doing with fruit. Alice

| I too eat a lot of fruit, mostly oranges and strawberries and it has not stopped me losing weight........also remember that I can't exercise and the tape measure is showing a good loss of inches too. Take care, love Louloo. x

| Still eating fruit. My body craves fruit now so I don't deprive myself. As I mentioned before my body is undergoing changes and stress and overcoming addiction so rather than reach for the whole package of cookie wafers I eat some fruit. I still cheat but only with 6 Rochere candies a day. Better than before, when I ate junk food 3 to 5 times a day.

| You are doing great, so a little cheat is not going to do much damage. Not nearly as bad as my cheat.....I had a cream cake today, my neighbour bought it for me and came in to have a cup of tea with me, so how could I refuse? LOL Take care, love Louloo. x |
