Default leaving tomorrow am for long weekend, need quick advice

Good Morning!
I have to be in a wedding Sat. My pants are a little tight around the waist. If I eat paleo all the way till then, should they be ok or should I order a larger size? They aren't awfully tight, just snug. I'm thinking with water loss they might do fine.

I'll check in here later today, then I'll be gone till Tuesday.

thanks,
B.

Hi, Bear,

Have fun at the wedding!

I really don't know about the pants issue. How tight are they now? Can you fasten them up, but they don't look or feel great? Or is it more like you can't even do them up?

Are you going from eating "regular" high carb style to Neanderthin, or have you already been lowcarbing?

Many of us experience rapid loss of water weight when starting lowcarb. That might be enough to help with the pants. But not if you're already lowcarbing and just switching to Neanderthin. Also, not if a big change is needed to make the pants work. From now to Saturday is not enough time.

Without knowing more, I'd vote for new pants that fit now.

Probably nothing here you didn't know already. Hope it helps.

Alice

Thumbs down Re: leaving tomorrow am for long weekend, need quick advice

Have a great time at the wedding. I would opt for the larger size, there is nothing worse than having to hold your tummy in for a long period of time....go for comfort, that's what I would do anyway.

Take care,
love louloo. x

I'd vote for ordering the larger pants, too. You want to be comfortable and not feel like you have to keep your jacket on all night because your waistband is snug. And you want to have room to move for dancing and general revelry. Do stick with your eating plan so you'll feel your best, but I think you'd be happier with pants that are a little too loose than a little too snug.

Have fun!

so the vote is for larger pants. I can do that. The other ones will button but feel snug. I'm not gasping for air or anything but dancing could be interesting
I did good today with eating fish, shrimp and vegetables and dinner is chicken cooked in olive oil with roasted garlic, onions and peppers. So far so good!

Thanks for the advice and I'll see you all on Tuesday when I get back.
