Kelli - No, I don't seem to be getting the withdrawal symptoms that I've had in the past by quitting completely.

Still no loss for me but I think that is mostly due to a normal stall/slowdown I was experiencing before I tried this. I can be patient if I feel as good as I do now.

I had another good FF day! I noticed that I feel tempted to eat later in the evening. I had a hard-boiled egg (part of my 2-egg allotment) and some broccoli slaw mixed with ACV and a bit of Stevia instead of massive amounts of almonds.

I had talked myself out of swimming yesterday, but went anyway, so that's a Yeah! too.

Betwen the two, I am down again today. (I'm sure it's more water weight)

Rob, Kelli, How are you doing?

Had a strange day yesterday. I was up at 3:30 and decided to put off breakfast as long as possible. Had the LLC with flax meal and the lemon water and my one cup of Organic coffee right away. Had breakfast about 5:30 and was ravenous for the rest of the morning. I just couldn't stop eating. By lunch I had eaten, according to fitday, 1740 calories and 37g net carb. I sort of pulled out of it and was able to just have a light dinner and ended up with a 2200 calorie day with 49 net carbs.

I just ran out of organic coffee this morning. I did the math and my one mug of organic coffee costs 40 cents each. So $2.80 - $3.00 a week. I think I can afford to continue. LOL

Am still trying to incorporate the FF spices she recommends. Had a can of tuna with dry mustard, cumin and cayenne. It was really delicious. Even the cat liked it.

Rob,

When I was going the to Weight Watchers, the leader said if you don't eat within an hour of waking, the body perceives that as starvation and will burn cooler the rest of the day. I haven't always been following eating soon upon waking, but I do plan on eating at least a hard-boiled egg or two if I get up early and go swimming right away.

It wouldn't surprise me if you feel extra hungry today. Stick with it and keep to the LC veggies!

Hi Rob & Ilse,

My yesterday was okay. My meals were on plan, but I had 2 snacks that were not on plan (handful of peanuts & LC cake). I didn't feel too bad about it because I did 2 classes last night (2hrs). I figured the extra carbs were used. I know that isn't the right thinking. However, I still feel good. I've got to teach a class this morning. I'm subbing for another instructor. I'm normally not very active in the morning. However, since doing the FFP, I feel more alert.

I made some unfortunate mistakes yesterday. In the morning, I made a protein shake. When I was at work and drinking it, I realized it was actually a fruit smoothie, as I had forgotten the protein powder. After school, I headed out to a meeting near Chicago. I intended to eat at Chipotle, but saw a Panda Express a couple of doors down from Chipotle. So, not only did I get a burrito bol salad (no tortilla, rice, beans, sour cream or cheese), but I got some Chinese vegetables, beef with broccoli, chicken with string beans and peppered beef. I ate all of it in the car, before my meeting. I was tempted by chocolate chip cookies they had at the meeting. I didn't have any though. I did kind of doze off. When the speaker was done, I went to the snack table to get more water. I started eating some brownie-type of food and some cookies, that weren't real sweet. On the way home, I decided to stop at the health club and swim, to try to work off some of my very recent "sins". So, I am up a couple of pounds this morning. I know it's bloat, but is frustrating. (and not wise of me to let my guard down)

Okay, I'm not going to dwell on my yesterday. It was baaaddd. I think the only thing that saves me is the fact that I am at the gym all the time and all the water and cran-water I drink. The scale showed a loss which is good considering TOM is around the corner.

I plan to take it easy today. Doing the 2 classes per day is very exhausting. I only have one tonight. Whewww.

By any chance are you two breaking out in rashes? I've noticed a slight rash developing on my forehead and on my face. It's not very noticable, but it's there. I was just wondering if it is from all the lemon, and cranberry juice.

Hmm - just noticded today taht the skin on my hands are peeling, N0t seriously.

We'll all just forgive each other our bad days. Yesterday i made a box of carb sense apple cinnamon muffins and ate them all by the time I got to bed. Okay there was one left so i got back out of bed and ate it. This is why I almost never make low carb treats. So Ilse you were right, I was feeling extra hungry as you said I might. But I skipped dinner and lunch in favor of the muffins. But ended up with a 3000 calorie day.

Then this morning I was out of organic coffee and I just made a pot of decaf vanilla nut creme that I found in the back of a cupboard. I better get myself back on board or get off this train entirely.

I feel like yesterday went quite well. My DH was already home when I got home at 3pm. We made a phone call and went to see "Troy". By the time we paid for the ticket, it was past the posted start time, so we didn't get popcorn or soda, which is a real temptation for me at this point. Afterward, we stopped at Chipotle, where I got a salad and was right on track. Didn't sleep well, but that's an on-going problem for me.

So, an update on how it went last week. I started the Fat Flush program on Friday, May 7 with a weight is 234.5. After a rocky starting weekend, I was 230 yesterday for an official net loss of 4.5 pounds. I know I had a bloat yesterday after my bout with cookies and brownies the night before.

When I took my weekly measurements, I was up a bit, but that was in the waist mostly, I'm sure because of the bloat.

Well the rash isn't going away. I may try increasing my water intake. I don't know if I'm having a reaction or if this is a cleansing symptom. It has made me a bit nervous. If it doesn't clear up in a day or two. I may stop and see if it gets better.
