Yesterday, I was up in Milwaukee for a jewelry parts marketplace in a convention center. I felt lucky to find a place in the convention center that cutomized a taco salad for me with no cheese or sour cream. Later, out with my DH (and really hungry!), I had a meal more like CALP, with fries and a burger. Haven't WI yet this AM.

Must have been the cran water. I gave it up along with the hot water and lemon (simply because i was out of lemons) and today i was down 1 1/2 pounds. I guess I don't lose unless I'm counting carbs.

Yesterday, we went to a new outlet mall. On the way home, we had lunch. I could have eaten very wisely there, but choose to have Chinese food with sauces instead of without. Too hungry!

I didn't have enough small meals this weekend, since I wasn't home.

Finally, the facial rash is gone. I think I'm going to add only a few things back. I want to get back on the LLC and Lemon water. I don't know it I want the cran-water just yet.

As for meal, FFP was too strict for me. I may go back on the Schwarzbein Principle with LLC and lemon water. I need to find a program that will allow for enough carbs for my heavy workout routine.

Rob, are you still doing the LLC? I know you wrote that you stopped the cran-water & lemon water.

Ilse, if my loss was as great as yours, I would most likely stay on the FFP. Its just the rash I got really concerned me.

My skin has been itchy and I have a rash on my abdomen, but I attribute that to problems with too much rain recently. I have mold allergies.

I moved two boxes out to my car at work (trying to pack up for the summer) and suffered a lot of knee pain after that. I skipped swimming and took it easy.

My was terribly tempted by cashew nuts yesterday, but didn't give in. I had a large dinner consisting of cooked cabbage and cauliflower topped with a mix of turkey, spices, onions, celery, tomato puree.

Weight is still up. Kelli, Rob, how are you both doing?

I gave up the LLC because I was making it with cran-water.

Good for you Ilse - Cashews are hard to resist when they're right there.

Rob, I did eat some cashews utlitmately, but I ate them when the package was almost finished, so I couldn't go overboard on them.

Hello Ilse & Rob,
l'm still here, but have been real busy. I bought more cranberry juice. I decided I wanted to continue with the LLC, but I noticed that after one LLC, my forehead started to itch. Of course that was enough to scare me. Now I have all this cran-water and cranberry juice.

I may try to the the LLC with the cran-water more diluted. I'll let you know what happens.

I guess the rash wasn't from the tomatoes after all. LOL

This may sound dumb. What is LLC? If has anything to do with having some cranberry juice with water I am so in.

Hi Mcclintock04,
LLC is Long Life Cocktail. It is from the Fat Flushing Plan. The LLC is 8 oz of cran-water (4 oz of unsweetened cranberry juice mixed with 28 oz of filtered water) mixed with either 1 tsp of psyllum husks or 2 tbs ground flax seeds.

Kelli, I am taking a break from FFP right now. I am trying to do CALP. I was ok with it, then I got stomach flu symptoms and carbs are staying down better than LC meals. No problem with the cinnamon raisin bagel and apple cinnamon cream cheese. Big problem with the meal with burger, chicken, and other "goodies" (Notall LC!). I am not back to normal yet, so I don't know if I should buy some more bagels or try to eat something after 11, when we are done with school. (today is the last day!)

I am definately not drinking enough water!!!!

Ilse, I'm sorry you're feeling so badly. I am sure your stomach will let you know when its ready for full meals. Take it easy and try not to rush it.

Well, I'm not exactly doing the FFP either. I don't know it I will get back on plan, but I'm glad that I tried it.

Kelli,

I am glad you are keeping in touch here! I think I am feeling more normal. However, my food choices are influenced by what food I have left in the house. I do really need to go grocery shopping. I think I would benefit from a nice cup of hot lemon-lime water this morning. I also need to get back to my super smoothies soon! (chocolate protein shake with flax seed and oil added) (or a fruit-flavored one!)

I will say, there must be something going around, as other people tell me they too have been feeling badly.

I have used my queasiness as an excuse to eat bread. I really have to stop that!

Are you still doing Schwarzbein?

Ilse, I glad to hear you are feeling normal again.
You're right about some bug going around. My DH had it last week.

As for my eating plan, I do plan to go back to Schwarzbein. I've pulled her books out to refreshen my memory on the "do's & don'ts."

So are you planning on staying or going back to the FFP?

We are going on vacation in a few weeks to Walt Disney World, Universal Studios-Florida, and 2 nights in New Orleans. I will try to do CALP while down there, but I think FFP would be too strict. I have never been to New Orleans and want to enjoy some of the local favorites.

Any suggestions are welcome! I did find a place to look at WDW menus, which I need to do again to get ideas of which restaurants would allow me to stay on-plan.

I wasn't drinking enough water today, so I salted (dip a damp finger in a bit of sea salt, lick it off and drink some water) with a 16 oz glass of water. Being thirsty makes it so much easier to drink the water! I also made up some lemon-lime water, but haven't had it yet.

Have a great weekend!
