Rob...what did you bumped...i didnt feel anything...lolll

ok this is what i posted elsewhere:
Well im sure you all know ive tried Atkins and it didnt work for me...been stalled for over a year and then tried the zone...not much there either....and i know they are both good plans...just doesnt work for me...while i was off for the summer i had this little problem and couldnt go to the washroom even eating fiber left and right...so went to check on the net and fell on an artical for cleansing...it was called Fat Flush...it was just an artical but made really good sense...so i need to clean my liver for detox...i started to do like they said one cup of hot water with lemon juice...i put about 1/2 of a lemon (the juice only) and have it the very first thing as i get up...so, you have one in the morning and one at night before going to bed...and you add 2 eggs per day...you know what? ive lost inches and lost 4lbs in 2 weeks...and im at my last 15lbs so it works for me...see artical

http://www.extremehealthusa.com/fat-flush-plan.html

now im trying Protein Power...and later i will go buy the Fat Flush book just to see what its all about...curious george here...lol...

Do any of you guys know how long we can stay on hot water lemon drink? ive bought lemons big ones 50 cents each...so i bought like 20 of them took peel off and passed them in my juicer...poor it in this ice cube plastic bag...makes all little balls with frozen and volia...get up and just pop one or two out and poor hot water...it even cleans your cups of stains...so i guess i get to drink them stains...lolllll...well at least i dont have to bleach my cups...LOL

so i have 2 a day plus my 2 eggs and my primerose gel caps everyday...and its working...go figure...i should look into that cranberry juice...didnt look yet...we have ocean spray unsweeten but its not 100% pur...when you read the back it has other juices mixed in there and sugars...even though it says unsweeten...

thanks guys your great

lan

Good catch on that Cranberry juice. There are only 2 or 3 brands of organic cranberry juice that are unsweetened. NOT CHEAP I'll tell ya! But I get mine at Whole foods Market here in my city. I think you might be able to find it at a health food store.

I got tired of spending the money on store-bought unsweetened cranberry juice. I made my own per instructions in the Fat Flush book. I took a bag of frozen cranberries and some water (I think 4 cups) and heated the cranberries in the water until the cranberries popped. It cost around $2.50? for the bag of frozen cranberries that makes 32 oz of home-made juice, instead of $3.99 for just less than 32 oz of cranberry juice at Trader Joe's and more than $6 at Whole Foods.

some questions for you flushers -
I can't won't give up coffee or dairy. Also stevia and I don't get along.

Can you still do the cran water, lemon water and still get results??? And as for the p/husk - can you use fibercon instead???

I just got the book, looking through it so far I'm not so thrilled with the over all plan, but do like the detox aspects she speaks of.

btw - I only drink 4 - 6 ounces of coffee a day.

you can do so at

Then if you can attend the chat event, I'll try to ask them (it depends on how much time we have and whether or not she wants to answer them all).

If you can't attend the chat event (see banner at top of this page!)

the transcript will be posted by the following day.

Fat Flushers - have any of you had noticable changes in health - other than weight loss after doing the lemon juice / cranberry juice thing for a few weeks? I am interested in knowing if the liver is truly cleansed and what the benefits are.
Thanks,
Karen

Hello,

I just read FFP last week and began the diet yesterday, Monday Feb. 28. I am following the cleansing process pretty strickly and the last two days I've had a tremendous headache. I realize this is from the lack of caffeinne since I have cut out all the products suggested. I will let you guys know how I feel once I get over the initial shock of the diet.

Has anyone completed the Phase I and how do you feel?

Lisa, I've done Phase 1 and 2 a couple of times in the past five years when I was really off track and needing something to get me focused again. I'm going to do Phase 1 again starting this Friday for one week, maybe 2.

I will tell you that other than the first couple of days, my experience has been that I've felt absolutely fantastic on FF, better than I could even imagine, and that the effects last quite a while.

Keep us posted on how you're doing, ok?

Hello again,

I was successful for the first 4 days with FFP and then I got the contagious stomach flu that's being passed around our area (SC). I've lost 5 pounds, but have not gotten back on Fat Flush. I still drink the lemon water and a little cranberry in the mornings, but I found myself starving on the FFP and did not have enough time to prepare the meals. Also, I guess with any diet, it's EXPENSIVE! Anyway, does anyone have any suggestions on a diet that may allow something other than meat, veggie, and fruit...like dairy products. I know that's lame, but boy do I have cravings...how do I fight them and what diet should I try next??? I plan on attempting the FFP in the future again, but until my stomach gets a little stronger, I want to do something different.

Lisa

I too modified her plan, it was just rediculously restrictive, IMO. NO salt (not low salt) even herbal teas were forbidden - even the herbal tea thought to detox the liver, which is what her plan is all about. I got my 3 book set at http://www.superbookdeals.com, 18.96 plus $3.96 shipping. It was the best deal I found.

Her supplement kit is expensive, the organic foods are expensive, the unsweetened cranberyy stuff is expensive and she disallows any whey protein except her own, - you guessed it - it is expensive. I did buy her supplement kit, but I'm trying to figure out which nutrients I need above a multi vitamin I get elsewhere. When cranberries are in season again, I'll get a load of them and freeze them and make my own juice. I use a perfectly OK whey protein that DOES have a trace amount of the forbidden sweetener AcesulfameK in it. I know that sweetener isn't safe, but it isn't as bad as Nutri-sweet is and that tiny amount in my whey protein is the ONLY souce I have of it in my diet and that isn't every day. Mostly I use Stevia, either Stevia plus or the big bottle.

I'm glad she wrote the book. I think she is on the right track. But I also think she intends to profit mightily from the whole thing. JMHO
