Hi I just bought the Enter the Zone book and it seems to be full of facts and figures. Is there a different one that has more of a plan to follow ? I need more info on how to follow it not why to follow it. Is anyone following the plan? and is it difficult?

Hi Jackie, welcome to Zoneland...

I agree. "Enter the Zone" is a tough book to figure out the plan from. "Mastering the Zone" does a much better job of explaining the Plan," especially if you like the idea of using blocks and tailoring the plan to your own body. The paperbak "A Week In the Zone" is a simplified version, but it treats everyone as if they needed the same amount of food every day. The whole value of the Zone, IMO, is that it is customizable...

Long story short, "Enter the Zone" is great for understanding why the Zone works, but it's a tough read. "Mastering the Zone" would be my book of choice for the beginner. I will warn you that I find the recipes in the Zone books to be generally pretty, well, less that great. Fortunately there are other resources.

There is also a lot of good information on the different ways to Zone at www.zoneperfect.com Click on Getting Started. Here's another good independent site: http://www.dbhonline.com/zoneful/index.htm

Let us know if we can help you further, ok?

Thanks, I'm gonna pick it up tomorrow,It sounds like a decent program, I'm not one who needs fancy meals just some variety, I miss fruit alot, berries just don't cut it.If I keep shopping around I'm sure I'll find something that works. Thanks again!!
