Default 6 Week Make-Over with elements of Fat Flush

I had done the Michael Thurmond 6-week makeover to pretty good success, but didn't stay with it over vacation. Then cam this excuse and that excuse and I have been floundering for several months (since the end of March).

My cousin got a hold of this eating plan and we are going to do it together. I am incorportating elements of Fat Flush like some of the unsweetened cranberry juice, the flax seed and flax oil, and making smoothies (Yum!) with whey protein powder. I am not drinking hot lemon water, but I add lemon juice to my smoothies. (the cranberry and lemon are great diuretics)

We are both body type B. There is a test on-line that will give you your body type at http://www.provida.com/6wk_free_blue...12183&pathid=3

I had gone up to a peak weight of 246 last Monday, June 28th and am at 237.5 as of today.

I'm so glad you are finding your way again, Ilse. Your loss thus far is already an inspiration.

Debby and Brenda,

Thanks for the encouraging words. Yesterday wasn't a good MT day. We were out for hours, eating lunch around noon and dinner after 7pm (and I ate again at 1AM)

Today is a fresh start!

The rest of the weekend was somewhat rocky. I perpared food and forgot to grab it when I was out for a while on Monday. But, each day is a new one!

I feel like I did pretty good yesterday. Hopefully today will be good. I am taking my grandson to the movies (today is free popcorn day)

Ilse, hope today went well. I think you will feel so much better when you can run a few good days together--then you'll know you're on track again.

I cooked a couple of things in the morning before heading out. I made 4 spinach bread waffles, I cooked some scallops. I cut up cucumber, tomato and bell peppers. I put everything in a baggy and ate one "sandwich" while driving to pick my my grandson and one near the end of the movie. I did have popcorn, so Ithink I am up a tad today.

I got Chinese food -steamed shrimp and broccoli and egg foo yong without gravy. I forgot to tell them no MSG. I found it helped in the evening to have some frozen super smoothie (protein shake), that I shaved with an ice shaver and had a big bowl of for a treat! (I also plan to do that with lemon-lime juice)

As of this morning, I am 231.5. On June 28th, I was 246.

I have been cooking more in the morning to prepare for the day. I think that does help. I have definately been enjoying the spinach bread waffles!

I still need to take measurements on of these days!
