I like deli lunch meat to help me on induction, I don't like the pre-packed stuff, is there a specific kind I should get? and how much?

Nascar,
If you are going to use the deli meats, just watch the carb counts. Some processed meats have up to 2-3 carbs per serving. Have you thought about cooking yourself up a nice big roast of beef, some chicken drumsticks or wings, or a leg/thigh quarter of turkey to have for snacks along with some cheeses? Just an idea
Good luck to you!

Nascar,
I have done well with the plain sliced roast beef from the deli. Avoid stuff like "Honey Ham!" And if the counter is not too busy, try asking them to check the label on the meat. They should have some unsliced "hunks" with the label still on.
Good luck!

... and one other thing to keep in mind. Most deli meats are high in sodium. That will not slow your fat burning process, but may result in water retention which will mask the loss on the scales. So, keep that in mind when evaluating your resuts.![]()

If you do eat a lot of them, make sure you drink LOTS of water to counteract the salt. I ate ham like it was going out of style during induction and I didn't have too much of a problem with it. I lost steadily, slowly although, but steadily.
