Oh Good! I love those! Especially the raspberry one...

I went to King Soopers today and found a bunch of stuff. I found some Dannon low-carb smoothies that have a lot of protein, good-looking salad dressings, marinara, a bunch of cool items. I tried the cauliflower mash tonight, and that really is yummy. I cooked a whole head and bought one of those Deli roasted chickens, and had enough left for 3 lunches to take. I even saw low-carb frozen pizza, but told myself to try it in a few months. I've actually been able to refrain very well, especially considering today was a breakfast potluck for Bosses Day. The smell of the waffles didn't even bother me too much, and I'd normally have been all over those! LOL

But I'd gone down to the cafeteria beforehand and gotten a small 1-egg scrambled with some cheese and mushrooms, yummy. Someone did bring some low-carb orange pineapple juice, but I thought it was nasty.

All in all, a good day and easy to keep to. Not to go look through the recipes here...
Meg

I'm surprised, but I'm full enough to not snack, really. Which really helps that bad nibbling in fron of the computer habit. I did find a low carb protein crunch at 7-11 that's a small tube of strawberry or chocolate-coated cripsy bit. Only 2g carbs for the whole thing, and it lasted all day!

Hehe, my downfall is watching TV and tonight is "LOST" night. I think I'll indulge in some soy-tein chips. They're yummers and really LC!!!!! I'll dunk 'em in ranch dressing. It beats the bags and bags of Doritoes I used to inhale. (not to mention pringles.)

Meg -

First, welcome aboard!

Second, I hate to have to tell you this but those bars are MORE than 2 carbs each!

"Meg, lay the bar on the ground and step slowly away with your hands in the air!"

Seriously, they are full of sugar alcohols and actually run more like 10-15 grams per bar. I wouldn't eat them if I were you unless you want to start stalling.

If you like, you can post all the stats on the bar you have and we'll explain it for you.

Nice to meet you Meg. I am 34 also, and have a dog.

WOW! I just tried the Mock Danish for the first time and it is just tooooooo fine! It would probably be a bad thing to have one of those every day, but it sure tastes great!

Hi Heather!!!! I remember you!!!! Hope you are staying here for good now!!!!!

Sista, I am seriously in love with mock danish. I have one about every other day, or every two days. I alternate with eggs and flaxomeal cereal on my NON mock danish days. I could eat it ALL day long. I vary the flavors too, cinnamon, Irish Cream, chocolate, coconut/strawberry. You name it............variety is the spice of life.
