Thumbs up Small Successes

Here's a cool thread for our little successes...

Today, I was able to say no to the offer of a Hershey's miniature and someone's coffeecake they brought in to work.

Good for you. The little things can really add up and help you out tremendously in the long run.

I totally agree! Sometimes a little 'horn tooting' will help to get us over the next hump.........

I have managed to drink 100+ ounces of water every day this week!!!!!! YEAH!!!!

I fill my 16 ounce water bottle every other hour (starting at 7 am until finishing at 7 pm) that is 100+ ounces............therefore, I am drinking it at a rate of a cup an hour (on average)

So, I dont feel 'water-logged'........and quite frankly, that gigantic 32 ounce cup that I used to use was a little intimidating........and I rarely EVER filled it more than 2 times per day.....

How about taking an hour walk on a bleary day. Praying for a break in the rain even though walking is the last thing you want to do because you know how good it makes you feel afterward.

I am singing the praises of small successes!

For saying no to the Hershey's and the cake - good for you!
For walking on a bleary day - you rock!
For drinking your water - awesome!

You are all doing better than me! :o Day 2 of RE-induction, and I've already slipped up! Staying the course, but kicking myself...HARD!
However, I like the feeling of being back on the plan after a few weeks away!

Small successes, indeed!
