OK the last 2 night i have been sick to my stomach it has hurt so bad I have had to make myself get sick :( its awful awful awful Im thinking its because i have not had a "movement" #2 for 2 DAYS :( My stomach was hurting so bad I had no choice but to get whatever was in there out right away . Well this morning i tlaked with my mother and she said i must take laxative or this is going to continue so my gf brought me over some ex-lax . after 1 hour i already used the bathroom I know how gross to talk abotu this but oh well we all do it . I was just wondering if ex-lax has sugar cause i totally forgot to ask her to read the label :( I have lost 15 pounds now 3 weeks and dont want this to end because i had to use the restroom and took a laxative :( any advice ?? I read about flaxseed and flaxmeal can u get that at like CVS ?? Pharmacy Walgreens Etc ?

if you took the chocolate squares they absolutely had some sugar in them and they should in no way disrupt your weight loss. There is not enough sugar in a single dose to do any damage. Make sure you are drinking enough and eating high fiber vegetables. Don't stress over it. . .just keep doing what you were doing!

actually took the little blue ones i looked up the ingredients online and the only scary thing was starch. I am going to get some flaxmeal today. I guess drink a little in some water everyday and I will be fine !! hope and some spinach also would probably help and again water water water !! I just know that has to be why my stomach was hurting from not using the bathroom :(

Most likely it was Ashly, but don't worry about it--the little blue pills can't have a lot of starch in them--they are VERY tiny and there has to be some of the active ingredients too! Spinach is a great solution--lots of fiber--broccoli and a handful of nuts are two very good sources of fiber as well--Macadamia nuts have 4gs of fiber and 1 carb in a serving if I remember correctly and almonds have 3 fiber and 2 carbs--I eat these--2 oz at a time which is 2 servings and 6gs of fiber. Drink lots of water, you can even go to the tablet forms of fiber supplements like fibercon or the metamucil fiber supplements if you feel they would help--you take 6 I think it is and it is like 3gs of fiber. . .not a lot but enough usually to keep things moving normally. What type of lettuce are you using for salads? Iceberg has very little in it, but romaine is a better source as are several of the leaf lettuces--add some shredded cabbage or other veggies to your salads to increase the fiber intake with them if you are only using iceberg or mix romaine or other lettuces with the ice berg. . .I find that helps me too. Broccoli iwth the stems is one high powered source too--5 fiber and 2 carbs in a spear (5 inch stem with the florettes). I think spinach has 5 and 2 as well. But you tend to eat more than one serving of spinach at a sitting unlike the broccoli spears--spinach cooks down a lot and if you make a salad with it you usually use more than one loose cup of it!

That little bit shouldn't hurt you. I recommend if you HAVE to use something to use peri-colase. It's what they recommended to me when I was pregnant and having trouble. I really watch my fiber now. I don't take the husks to make me more regular but once in the last few months I have had a problem and have turned to peri-colase. It's not as harsh as ex-lax and doesn't have the lingering effects (that I have found with laxatives).

went to my local health food store and bought some flaxseed meal. Im gonna have that in the mornings with a shake or some keto cereal. was also recommended there to try KETOZYME digestive enzyme supplement it says they maximize digestion and minimize cramping gas bloating and well you know the rest that might come with high protein / low carb diet . hehehe I really hope this works and I also got some spinach !!

if you need another thing to increase the ... poopability.. increase your veggies.. you need more fiber.. eat more lettuce if you are on induction lettuce is low in carbs but has fiber to it.. i cring when i hear anyone say about takeing laxitives beacuse i realy messed my system up some years ago.. doing the laxitive diet.. (my own idea of a diet at the time.. anyway.. for some reason any time i eat eggs for breakfest i dont have a problem during the day going to the bathroom.. also watch how much cheese you are eating.. that might be.. effecting your poopability.. your body will figure out what its to be doing and your system will start working properly..! good luck.. and avoid laxitives at all cost.. g-luck!

I am an avid celery eater and I mix a teaspoon of a Metamucil-type fiber powder into my l/c pie crusts and my protein shakes. Sneak in all the fiber you can. It's hard to actually overdo it. Gotta love the nuts, just watch your quantities! Oh, and welcome!
