Well i think you get the message, everyone is definetly encouraging you not to do the shakes. So Im just gonna offer a lil moral support here.

I started Atkins in Jan. over 300lbs and not sure if i would stick this out or what the outcome would be, i decided at that point to take this one day at a time and to count off one lb at a time, needing to lose 142lbs was way too much weight for my psych to deal with. The 2 week induction did not offer me the huge loss that most people got, i only got 2lbs, but i felt so amazing that i thought hey i can do this and to me 2lbs every 2 weeks was better than gaining or remaining the same. Next i joined a gym, started some supplements and that is when the losses cranked up. Anyway to shorten this story a lil, 10.5 months later Im one happy camper. 90lbs is off this body, and what really makes me proud of myself is i did it one day at a time one meal at time, one workout at a time. No shortcuts, no surgery, no starving myself, and now no regrets.

Hi Celeste, you?re a great inspiration and this became a mantra to me: one day at a time one meal at a time one workout at a time... this is great.

Thanks for sharing!!
