New start here as well, started 1/1/04 at 220, got to 186, then October, then the holidays, now Im back to 195, so here I go again, back on the wagon. First day on the plan, trying to use fitday daily, my bf and I have a bet who can drop 20 lbs first. Payoff is a hotel room and dinner of choice. I can say I'm motivated I'm NOT looking forward to the next few days of withdrawals. I bought some Atkins Dieter's Advantage and hoping it helps the next week or so. I know its only a matter of getting through one week, it gets easier after that. Wish me luck and good luck to everyone else who's doing the same thing this week.

Merdiva - many on this forum have found that lc bars and other manufactured lc foods can stall weight loss. Just wanted to let you know so you can beat your boyfriend.

Also, you might insist on a "handicap" as men are notorious for losing weight faster then women. We have so many horomonal changes during the month that it affects us as well as fewer muscles than men - muscles burn more calories than fat so they get an advantage - ughhh!
