Default TOM and induction do not mix....

SO I'm back to induction.... trying to get off these last 35 lbs so I can leave for boot.... and I"m on a no cheat challenge. BUt guess what.... the day I start my no cheat challenge.... the pre-TOM activities like cramps and watergain kick in, and now I can't tell how I'm doing. God does that frustrate me. Guess I"ll be waiting for the end of the TOM to weigh in!@

Hang in there Megan! Try to push liquids (ummmm.... hot green tea and ginger?!) and have patience. You're over half way to goal, so I know you can forge through this.

Thanks teelbee..... I've drinking tea and water like crazy (and tea has that great diuretic effect, so hoping that will help. Just can't wait for it to come, so it will be over too.

You can learn a lot from TOM. . .
I kept an Excel chart, entered my weight every day to calculate a weekly average, and made the numbers red during TOM. After a few months you can see exactly how TOM and PMS affect your weight, where the water retentions and the whooshes fall. So now, at goal, I know when to kick the scale and when not to! Something else I've learned is that TOM and PMS have a much more dramatic effect on my scale weight now that I'm lighter. Everything is an opportunity to learn about your body! Hang in there!

April, I think she'll be going to Parris Island in South Carolina. If I recall, that's the only place the Marines send female recruits for boot camp.
