Angel, you didn't tell us about the results of your test. Did you hear back yet?
BTW...I've been through the EKG route three different times. I still get these weird chest pains now and then. Sometimes it hurts so bad that I can't breathe for a few seconds...and then it just goes away. Nobody's sure why it happens, so I've just learned to deal with it.

I did have a scare once. It was a different kind of chest pain--one that didn't go away right away--with shortness of breath and breaking into a sweat. I drove myself to the hospital...probably not a smart thing now that I look back...and was hospitalized for two days. Turns out it was a severe case of work-related stress. I was relieved until the doctor told me that my stress could cause a heart attack.

So...these days I still stress, but I find silly ways to veg out when I get home. I play Yahoo computer games (Bookworm, Text Twist, What Word and Jungle Jewel), read fiction, hang out on this forum, and watch a lot of pre-recorded videos with my son in the evenings.

In addition, I avoid television news (mostly CNN at work, nothing at home. Weird for a reporter, I know), steer clear of the Motley Fool site's political forum and I nod during phone conversations while my best friend rants about the world's social issues but I rarely offer an opinion of my own--he gets wound up enough for the both of us. LOL

Now...if I could just find a way not to worry about finances or kids I'd be set!

I am walking and still weight training. I am gaining a little weight though, not losing. I think I am still on too many carbs. I started gaining weight when my thyroid medicine was changed and I'm wondering if that is part of it.

I'm doing better about reducing stress. I have been doing yoga and a lot of quiet time. I make sure and have some quiet before bed, that seems to help me a great deal.

Everything is improving (except my waistline)
