| I wouldn't worry about it too much. I practically live on eggs myself, they're just so easy and soooo good! Just make sure you're eating plenty of veggies and drinking water too. |

| Chasin and Achilles, ya'll may want to scope out the thread I started in the Cooking forum. It's called "What do YOU make with eggs?" Lots of good ideas there!

| Just wanted to throw in my 2 cents: When I was first starting out, I probably had almost as many eggs as you are having. I usually made omelets or scrambled them. I still sometimes eat 3-8 eggs a day, and have not burned out from them. My secret is that when I scramble them, I mix cream cheese, shreded cheddar, and sliced ham with 3-4 eggs. Sometimes I actually have this for both breakfast and dinner. Enjoy

| quote from Teelbee: "I generally think it's a good idea to mix things up - eat a variety of different protein foods (chicken, eggs, cheese, meats, fish, even tofu). That way you're more likely to cover all your nutritional bases. And, less likely to burn out on a useful food." This was exactly what I was going to say until I saw Teelbee already said it. 8 to 10 eggs a day is very filling and will take the place of other foods you would have normally eaten. 10 extra large eggs will provide all of the MDR of vitamin A, 60% of vit D, 68% of iron, 2x riboflavin, 2.7X B12 and 2.54 x Selenium in addition to several other nutrients. But will provide little if any niacin, vits. C, D, and K. Even assuming you take a multivitamin and perhaps other supplements (I'm a big believer in supplements) It's my personal viewpoint that supplements are best absorbed with nutrients from natural foods. In other words supplemental calcium is best absorbed with dietary calcium. Just a thought. I think you'll be fine in the short run but think towards adding in a full array of foods in the future. |

| I always have at least a half dozen hard cooked eggs in the fridge. I have 2 for breakfast and usually a couple for lunch. Or, I have an omelet or fried eggs. I was also worried about eating too many, but from the looks of the answers here, it looks like I am okay. Thanks for asking the question.
